Steemit 101 / FAQ --So, WHAT'S THIS #til tag anyways?? Some NEW TAGS / ideas on Steemit discussed today w. the Steem Elders
1/ " what does this new #til TAG stand for??" - A question posed today that I wondered about myself earlier today and was going to ask and then inform people once I found out was:
Valid question and once I figured it out planned on writing about it since others would ask!
#til = Today I Learned.
It is not easy being new to Crypto and having so much to learn. It is forcing many of us outside of some comfort zones and that is where growth happens. Some of us minnows stick together like a support group for newbies LOL. (:
That post today where some of this and more was discussed is at the end of my post here for you.
It was a conversation with many of the community members along with some of Steemit Elders as I call them now. Some don't like the term whales and I understand this LOL. I am just a Minnow learning his way and trying to help at the same time. I like providing Steemit 101 type answers with all the new people coming online daily and that is the term I use in some of the posts I write.

If you're interested, I have put together quite a few blogs to help newbies along. The last one was The Comprehensive Guide to Understanding Your Wallet - but there are other links toward the bottom of the post. Most are beyond 30 days old so I don't make a cent from promoting them, but they are helpful.

I really think I may be the first one to use #SteemElders and I like that a lot!!! I think it could be a good searchable tag!

Woohoo I actually knew what TIL stood before before this. I read this great book on how to write successful emails. The tip was to tell stories and one of best sources of interesting stories was the TIL section of Reddit. Guess I can come here for some good stories now :)
