#LivingElSalvador. Our 1 Month Old BABY CHICKENS and New Addition to Our BIRD TRIBE. Miss DUCK.

Have you ever seen baby chickens chasing each other for the worms? Well now is your chance. These are our one-month-old baby chickens who are all doing very well and learning from their mom chicken digging for all kinds of bugs in the dirt.

We feed our chickens all kinds of veggies, corn etc. but I think their favorite is bugs and the worms which is like having a steak dinner instead just salad all the time. lol.
When it rains there are a lot of worms and bugs for the chickens to eat but when it stops raining, there are not many worms since the dirt gets dry and hard, so sometimes we like to dig the dirt for them so that they can look for some bugs to eat and they love it.

Because it was raining season and our chicken space was like a pool and really muddy, we had to throw any dry coconut branches or leaves or anything really dry so that the chickens can have a little bit of dry space to walk on, but now that it is a bit dry since it didin't rain for 5 days, we still have some mess in the chickens space and once the winter is over we can clean all that up.


Also, we got a new addition to our tribe which I would like you to meet and that is our new baby duck which is so good with the chickens and the chickens are really good with the duck.
It was really interesting when we first introduced the duck to the chickens since they really gave the duck all the respect and kept their distance while starring at the duck for few hours. It was a cool experience to watch the reaction of the animals to each other.

Now that all the birds are friends and everything is going smooth, we will also get a boy duck so that we can have duck eggs which I have never tried before, so that will be a great experience and if we don't like the eggs, we can enjoy delicous duck dinner which I also never tried before.

          I know, it is getting too busy. We have to get rid of some roosters since we have 3 and they are really starting to fight, so it's going to be a good rooster soup, very soon.
