Luxurious Homemade Soap Recipe: You've Just GOT To Try For Yourself!

Remember my post from yesterday about a special delivery?
Well, I couldn't wait, so last night when I took my shower I used the peppermint soap!

OMGoodness!

SUCH a luxurious soap!

I had told my husband's first wife that I was wanting to attempt to make my own soap (just have to get the finances in order to purchase the ingredients) and she sent me some in the mail.

Here is the soap recipe she used; with a few tweaks of her own.
She told me she cut down on the amount of essential oil used, due to it being a little strong for her, and she reduced the coconut oil 1-2 oz and replaced with sweet almond oil.

It has left my skin soft and smooth, but without that filmy feeling that some commercial soaps tend to give your skin. The light peppermint scent is AMAZING! It has the MOST lather I have ever used in a soap; and that includes all those shower gel products.

Now I can't wait to get the essential oils and other ingredients so I can make my own!
