Grow your own vegetables Meal 3 🌿
Harvest number 3
Those of you who follow me would know I have been growing my own herbs and vegetables for the past 15 weeks.
This was the latest update. and this was the last meal I made with the thyme.
It was a little project I took on with my two sons when our local supermarket gave away little grow kits a few months back.
It's been a great little lesson to them about where food comes from and they've really enjoyed looking after the plants over the weeks.
The third herb I used is my dill.

I found a nice recipe online for roasted potatoes with dill and shallots.

As you'll see my photography skills are nowhere near the level of the professional shot above, but in the taste stakes, I'll bet you it'd give it a good run for is money!
These were accompanied by roast carrots and roast chicken.
There's still some dill and thmye left and then my carrots are next on the list... They will be teeny tiny micro carrots! But hopefully they'll be tasty!
