Homemade cheese with herbs
Ingredients:
Milk - 1 liter
Kefir or yogurt - 1 l
Egg - 6 pcs.
Salt - 2 tsp.
Pepper red spicy - 0,3 tsp.
Caraway seeds - 0.5 tsp.
Chopped herbs - 1 tbsp. l.
Pepper black ground - to taste (optional)
Preparation:
- Finely chop dill.
- Combine the milk and yogurt. It is better to take a saucepan with a thick bottom. Stir the milk and kefir and put on a stove for a small fire to warm up.
- Eggs with a pinch of salt whisk with a whisk or a fork until a homogeneous mass.
- Add the salt, pour the eggs into the warm milk with a thin trickle. Stirring, bring to a boil the mixture. Cook a couple of minutes.
- Do not rush to remove the cheese from the heat, let it cool down a bit in the pan. After you take a colander or a strainer for fruit, cover with gauze. Strain the cheese from the liquid.
- Add in the cheese red pepper, pepper black ground, cumin, dill.
- Mix the cheese well with the spices.
- Tie the gauze tightly. Put the cheese in the refrigerator for oppression for 5-6 hours.
- Homemade cheese with greens and caraway seeds is ready. Cut into cubes, striped - and to the table.
