동사구: Away #2 (get away)

동사구란?

동사구는 하나의 의미를 갖는 두 개 이상의 단어로 구성된 동사입니다. 하나의 동사와 하나의 부사가 만나서 하나의 단어와 하나의 의미가 됩니다.

영어권자가 동사를 사용하는 이유는 어릴 때 진짜 어휘를 모르기 때문입니다. 나이가 들면서 진짜 단어를 배우게 됩니다.

A phrasal verb is a verb that consists of two or more words that make one meaning. There is one verb and one or more adverbs that come together to make one word and one meaning.

The reason why English speakers use phrasal verbs is because when we are young, we don't know the real vocabulary word. As we get older in age, we learn the real word.

For example, my five-year-old daughter knows "break away" before she knows "become independent".
