"Communities of the Month’ Support Program" application by Steem Skillshare.

I am @milakz, founder and admin of STEEM SKILLSHARE. I am writing this post to apply for The Communities of the Month Support Program as a response to this post.

Community Purpose

What is the purpose of your community?

We would love teachers and students meet each other here on Steemit and use STEEM or STEEM DOLLARS or even UPVOTES or TRON as a payment method. As well as other professionals who can offer their services online accept payment in Steem. We already had several language and trading lessons. The graphic designer sells digital logo designs and other specialists performed their services as well and were paid in Steem.

Is it unique?

Yes, we believe it is unique.

Are there any other communities covering the same subject or area as yours?

As far as we understand we are a unique Community which is encouraging people to learn skills online and pay in Steem as well as sell the digital online services for Steem.

Why should people join your community?

We believe that people should join our Community because we promote Steem as free, secured immediate payment system that can make online studying a super easy and flexible service. You can meet professionals from all over the world pay in Steem and have no extra fees. You can know a specialist by reading his blog and build your own brand by providing advertising and post reports on Steem SkillShare.

Community Team

Who are the Admins and Moderators of your community?

Admins

The first admin and the founder of Steem Skillshare is me @milakz from Kazakhstan. I can speak Russian and English. I am actively promoting steem and Steemit. I also restructured her physical shop as STEEM-MART to promote Steem in her country.

The second admin is @daytona475. She is from Venezuela, her language is Spanish being her native language. Previously, her performance was as a moderator and teacher of Spanish in this community.

Moderators

@atim1234 is in our mod team who is responsible for graphic design of Community Posts and has direct contact with Indonesian users to assist and promote Steem Skillshare in Indonesian language. He is also selling graphic design and logo design to other users and gives discounts who accept Steem as method of payment.

@papi.mati is from Poland, living in Argentina. He can cover Polish, English, basic Spanish. He is also admin of Steemit Weekly a sister Community to Steem SkillShare that promote Contests and Events in both Communities.

@rachelshieff is an active Content creator who contributes daily to Steem SkillShare and provides online services. She is currently residing in Hong Kong.

@ftz is from Bangladesh and she can cover Bengali translation. She is an active moderator who is responsible for English Language contests and workshops in team with native speaker from Canada @dwarrilow2002.

@jenesa is from Philippines, she is promoting Steem Skillshare recruiting new teachers and testing online lessons to give rating to the teacher.

@lenonmc21 is a trading teacher who is also a professor of Crypto Academy. He is responsible for creating for promoting Steem Skillshare and helping users to understand trading tools.

@slon21veka is responsible for Russian language and promoting Steem Skillshare among Russian users.

@endingplagiarism is responsible for checking posts and photos on Plagiarism.

Are the team members paid or rewarded in any way from the community funds for their work in running the community?

Currently Team is only rewarded by Community Account upvote and promoted actively with pinned posts and by Community Account Posts Supports. We are trying to rise Community Account SP so the whole team agrees to Contribute without direct withdrawal from Community Account. We are planning to reward weekly rewards to active mods who promote and support Community.

If you only have one Admin what would happen to your community if you left or lost your keys

We have two admins so we will avoid such situation.

Our Curation Account is @steem.skillshare

How much Steem Power does it have - both of its own and delegated to it?

It has 1,218.914 SP on it own and +4,333.922 SP in delegation.

What are your plans for growing the SP of the account?

We are planning to rise delegations, power up as many posts as we can, find external investors, encourage users to point some percentage of their beneficiary reward to Curation Account. We are also planning to build STEEM SKILLSHARE WITNESS under @steemchiller guidance but we would need support from Steemit Team votes, to make it profitable for our Community.

Are all the post rewards powered up, or are they used for paying delegators or members of the community team?

Currently, all posts are used for our Power Up except prizes for the Contests runned by Community Account.

Who has access to voting with the account?

As our Community is just a newborn Community and all the team is in different countries unfamiliar with each other, the Community Curation Account is trusted to me as a founder and admin of Steem Skillshare.

What is the current Voting CSI score for the account (from Steemworld.org)?

Voting CSI ( 10.34 % self, 29 upvotes, 14 accounts, last 7d )

On average what proportion of the posts each week receive a vote from the community account?

Currently we upvote all posts that are published in our Community as we don't have many active posters.

Plagiarism & Abuse

What measures do you take to check for plagiarism and other forms of abuse (content farming, duplicate accounts, fake accounts)?

All our members are daily checking user accounts and report any suspicious content to our mod @endingplagiarism

Do you have designated people in your team for plagiarism checking?

Yes

Do you ensure all photos used in your community are copyright free?

We hope so and we check and work with @endingplagiarism

Engagement & Commenting

Does the community team check and comment on every post in the community?

Yes, we are trying that each post receives at least one comment from each mod.
If not, approximately what proportion of posts are commented on?
At least 90% are commented and supported by Community Team.

Plans & Updates

How often do you post plans and updates for the community?

Normally, we have at least one weekly posts with news, updates and reports.

Do you post these through the community account?

Yes

Do you have a roadmap or long term plan for the community?

Yes, we are trying to involve members from the platform as well as recruit specialists and learners from outside Steemit. We are building website to categorize posts into different fields and facilitate the search process. We are leaning about Steem Witness thanks to @steemchiller guidance and try to build Steem Skillshare Witness. Our user @dwarrilow2002 is helping us to create a system of recruiting Steem Skillshare Promoters who will serve as a connection between users outside Steemit.

Promotion

How do you promote your community?

We try to promote our Community by directly contacting specialists that we see in other Communities and explain that they can monetize their skills. We also perform multiple Contests to spread news about Community. Our Team publish and mentions Steem Skillshare in their post in other Communities.

Do you promote your community outside of Steem?

Yes, we have created Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and we are also building our website.

Do you have a Promotion or Marketing Plan for your Community?

We are planning to actively promote on Steemit and organise many group services such free webinars, online meetups with Specialists. We are working closely with other Communities to promote and sponsor each other Services. Our supervisor is @arie.steem who is admin of Promo Steem.

Anything Else

Please include any other information you would like us to know about your community, and why your community should be selected for extra support? Any other special features your community has? Do you encourage only #steemexclusive posts in your community?

Yes, we encourage both steemexclusive and Power Up posts. We believe that our Community has unique features that can benefit all believers and users of Steemit. We encourage our members to monetize their skills and promote Steem as Payment method.

We are still a young Community who has struggles to reward active users and provide curation support to our Team. We believe that if we get more curation support from Steemit Team, more users will be encouraged to actively provide their services and promote Steem Skillshare both on the platform and outside. We need to get more visibility so that we can match more users who seek to buy or sell services for Steem.

We would also to know if we can count on Steemit Team votes for Steem Skillshare Witness.

As a Community leader I am planning to organise more promotional campaigns and events, seek sponsors and investors as well as organise free webinars with Specialists and support them from Community Account. Recently we appointed a second admin @daytona475 who is also responsible to organise Community work of each Team member. We strongly believe in our Community purpose and we are determined to make it a successful Community on Steemit.
