Dear friends, today in the Yarn Crafts Competition, I am sharing with you the making of nakshi chika with colored yarn and golden fibers of jute. I hope you like it a lot.
The necessary ingredients for making nakshi chika are given below:
|The process of making nakshi chika is presented below in step by step:
⬇️ step-01 ⬇️
First I took the same amount of jute fiber. Then I began to weave the fibers together well.
⬇️ step-02↙️
I made two separate masonry with jute fiber masonry.
⬇️ step-03⬇️
I took the size of wool yarn of four colors. I kept the yarns separate
♣️ step-04♣️
I tied the colored threads in two parts of the two pieces of jute ashes.
👇 step-05👇
I sized the colored yarns evenly with the jute fiber.
↘️ step-06↙️
I tied the knotted part of the jute fiber separately and started re-knitting the colored yarn with the jute fiber from the bottom of the tied part.
⬇️ step-07⬇️
I made a total of a number of branch pulses with jute fibers and colored yarn.
⬇️ step-08↙️
I made two sub-branch pulses by dividing the jute fiber and the colored yarn in the lower part of each branch stalk made of colored yarn knot with jute fiber.
⬇️ step-09⬇️
I re-mixed one branch of each branch with the sub-branch of the other branch.
♣️ step-10♣️
Colored yarn was woven with jute fibers. Then I tied the lower part of the jute fiber and colored yarn with colored yarn. The extra part hung down. Here is how the traditional nakshi chika of rural Bengal of Bangladesh was made.
👇 step-11👇
In our rural areas of Bangladesh, various types of food items are hung in such nakshi chikas. It has been used by the people of our country since ancient times. However, with the advent of modernity, the use of nakshi shikara has decreased in our country.
That's amazing. You explain very briefly. I really like your nikashi chika. Thanks for sharing in detail.
Thank you so much for your comment.
