It's been a month since my last diary entry. So, firstly, I did take the suggestions provided by @sapwood and @steemcurator01 and decided to stay at my current organization and reject the other offer that I had in hand. I have also been going out a bit lately.

Ever since March 2020, I stayed home for months together. I wouldn't meet anyone. Nor would I go out for lunch or dinner. The Covid scare was real. Now, a bunch of my friends who had gone abroad to pursue their masters has started coming back to India. So, I have been going out to meet them and have some fun.

While going out, I have been extremely careful. I always wear a mask and carry my own hand sanitizer. However, when I go outside, I see people roaming about as though Covid doesn't exist at all. Please, guys, be careful and stay safe. Covid is no joke and should not be taken lightly. Take all precautionary measures if you are going out and don't be negligent.

Also, a personal achievement of mine was getting one of my family members on Steemit. All of them used to be very hesitant about the crypto world. However, I somehow explained the benefits and my mother has now joined steemit and goes by the username @roopk97. I did tell her to get started with an introductory post. However, she is hesitating to do that. She has started off with a few diary posts and will be regularly updating that. Kindly excuse has English as she is not very well versed in it. She is working towards getting better at it though.

Now that I have gotten that aside, let's move on to my diary entry for today.

Morning:

Just like any other day, I was woken up by my dog, Cooper at 6 A.M. in the morning. We took a new route today and found an abandoned park that we might use for his fetch sessions in the future. Cooper found a new friend today on his walk.

The pet parents of that puppy call him Kariya(This is Kannada and translates to blacky in English).

After my morning walk, I went about all my morning chores such as brushing my teeth, having a bath, drinking milk, etc.
At around 10 A.M. in the morning, my mother gave me home-cooked masala dosa. This is extremely famous here in south India and you must give it a try if you are around here.

At 12:15 P.M. my daily scrum meeting started. The timings of the scrum meeting does seem a bit late. However, this is because part of my team works from Sweden, and due to daylight savings they are well behind our time.

Noon:

Today noon I had gone to get Zoomcar from the pickup point. I and my friends are going to be traveling to Pondicherry for the holidays. We have already enquired with the hotels and ensured that we are staying in a place that isn't very crowded.

Since the majority of the crowd would go to Goa for the holidays we decided to avoid it altogether. I got the car from the pickup spot and drove it around for about an hour. This is to ensure that the quality of the vehicle that we have hired is good. This would help reduce any problems while traveling long distances.

Evening:

In the evening I got back, quickly ordered some chicken curry and rice on Swiggy, and got back to work. When I got the delivery, I was utterly disappointed to see that the packaging was already opened and the contents had spilled over. I immediately got in touch with customer care they were adamant about refunding just half the amount. After speaking to a few escalation managers, I was able to get an order replacement.

After having my lunch very late in the evening, I got back to some office work. After a few meetings, I finally logged off at around 8 PM in the night. Right in time for both mine as well as Cooper's dinner. There was still some chicken currency left. So, I had the same for my dinner as well.

Now it's past midnight and after completing this diary post, I will be hitting bed.
