Things you should do

Recruitment

Steemit is a blogging based social media platform That pays you in STEEM(Cryptocurrency), So you all should invite your friends, family and community to this wonderful platform of steem So that they can also earn STEEM words which are totally worthy, all they have to do is post just like they do on any other social media platforms I.e Facebook, Instagram etc.

Engagement

Once you recruit your friend, family and community on platform, make sure you help them in their initial days. Motivate them by commenting and upvoting on their posts, also motivate them to engage more with others through comments that way you can make friends on Steem from worldwide.

Visibility

There are many users working on this platform but many of them are not actually visible, you can be visible on platform When you invite your friends to join this platform, when you make engagement with others, when you participate in on going contests on Steem and support steem exclusive projects I.e #thediarygame #the1000daysofsteem

The diary game tips

As all of you can notice that curation for diary game is a little tougher in this season because of limited resources and the curation team is actually looking for "Quality content"

I have created a guide on how to put Plus Code location under the caption of your photos and you can find the post Here make your posts special and interesting by putting details as much as you can, put photos and relatable captions if they belong to any location put its location or plus codes or latitude or longitude. If you bought something write from where did you made the purchase What was its cost, how does it taste /what's its use?

All these basic details make your post really unique and intresting hence different from other users which gives you more chances to receive attention of the curation team.

What you will get in return?

The first thing you get is rewards, which is almost everyone's priority. Additionally you will get many friends and followers on your steem account. Many people will make return Comments and upvote on your posts because you also did same to them. So it's a win-win scenario isn't?
If go more deeply, you will get to learn more about different countries places and lifestyle of people from different countries. There are all types of community available so you can search for posts according to your preferences.

Things you should not do

The diary game

Let's talk about the current most trending contest on Steem #thediarygame

First of all everyone need to know that #thediarygame is exclusively a steemit Contest/event So which means you are only supposed to post it on Steem platform not on other similar chains.

.

why you should not post on multiple chains?

As i mentioned above the diary game is a #steemexclusive contest, it's supposed to be only on steemit, when you post on others chains you risk your assured votes On steemit as well. How?

As @steemcurator01 Team said, all of your posts will be read and curated if you keep posting but there are some rules and posting on one chain is one of them.

First of all you are posting on multiple chains and then expect votes on both chains. First you break rule of steemit so you already lost your assured votes on your diary entries, and if talk about other chain, there whom will you complain that you are not receiving votes on your post? Because the content you are copying there is a Steem content other chains have nothing to do with it.

It's time to believe that "Something is better than nothing" my advice to everyone is only post on one chain so you get your assured votes at least which is better than losing votes on both chains now the choice is yours, if you want certain votes or risk them both?

Expectations of Votes

Whenever there is a new announcement from @steemitblog many people go there and complain about not receiving votes on their posts, they don't have anything to do with the announcement I wonder if these people even read the post they go and only write "Hi @steemcurator01 please check my diary posts" I mean seriously @steemcurator01 is really busy these days with curation of diary game already trying their best, still they manage sometime to post an update on @steemitblog expecting people will be happy and excited what do they actually receive? Complain about not getting upvotes seriously?

There is written in BOLDletters that don't post any diary entries links, still some people do post their links what does that mean? That means they didn't even read the post.

SOLUTION

Now there is a solution to all this vote problem that I'll explain in short steps.

1 - Engage more with other users.
2- make comment as much as you can.
3 - Try to bring referrals.
4 - most importantly "Follow all the rules" of the diary game.

All these activities make you visible between thousands of users hence it increases the chances of receiving upvotes from curation team.

Ps - Diary game isn't just about expecting votes, it's also about making engagement with others. As i mentioned above you get to see places from all over the world, you can compare prices and quality of products just from your home and access quality content to read right from your bed!
