STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE S8W4- AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY

Hello to everyone in this great community today. I salute you all in good spirit and I want to believe that everyone is doing well and good today.

I welcome you all to yet another wonderful time regarding the week 4, season 8 of the steemit engagement contest that has been brought forward by the steemit team in other to improve engagement among users in this platform.

Today I will be participating in the engagement contest that has been set by this community team regarding the steemit engagement contest so as to improve communication among users in this platform at large which has been titled an apple a day keeps the doctor away. I urge you all to relax as I drop my entry.


What do you understand by this statement?

This is a normal statement that has been in existence for a long time. We all know that taking in good food especially the six classes of food accordingly will help us to maintain good health and as such we need not to see a doctor because good diet are a medicine to our health.

It is not necessarily that you take a apple for you to maintain a good health. This statement is trying to tell us that we should always take good care of our health by watching what we consume everyday. Eating good food will help us to be healthy and as such we do not have to see a doctor when we eat well.


What are some practices/habits you do to make sure you're healthy? (State and give the importance in your own words)

Eating good diet especially taking in the six classes of food accordingly has been my habit so far. There are meals I do not eat for breakfast, lunch nor dinner because such meals can cause harm to me when taken inappropriately.

I make sure I take something light for breakfast such as bread, tea, egg, plantain, and noodles. These are the meals I take for breakfast and they have helped in nourishing my body and also promotes good skin texture too.

While at noon, I do take rice, spaghetti, yam, and any other solid food. This is done to keep me healthy and control my diet as though all food has a way of working in our body and as such I considered these ones okay for me when having lunch.

During dinner, I make sure I take fruits to balance the equation finally. There is need for the nutrients from fruits in our body and also at night, our body only requires light food especially the brain. Since it has been working the whole day, it needs to calm down. So providing fruits especially while having dinner is so essential to our health.

How did you discover these activities? Did you discover the activities/habits by yourself or someone told recommended them to you?

I read agricultural science in school and I was taught food and nutrients. It was from that teachings I discovered how to merge my food together and what class of food should I take during the day, noon time and night.

My agricultural tutor always tell us to make the appropriate combination of food before we take them as though this will give us an edge over the kind of food we are to have if being served to us by others. Ever since then, I have cultivated the habit of knowing the right type of dish to take and I have also pass this knowledge to my family for we now have food menu guide in the house.


What are the health benefits of the habit(s)?

The health benefits of this habits is that, it guides me from eating what will not benefit my health, it has also groomed me to curtail my eating habits as I get to limit the way I consume food. It is also helping me to watch what I eat even if the food is being given to me for free.

Since I am on the look out for my health, it is currently assisting me to make good food choices too. This has helped me to stay away from the doctor because I do not fall ill regularly. It has helped to to take good care of my health by watching what I eat.


Do you think everyone could engage in these habits? Explain

I do think most people have a way of engaging in this habits. Although it may not be the way I engage in it but definitely there are other ways that one can employ to live a healthy life via taking in the adequate food accordingly.


What health tips would you give steemians?

All I can say is that, it is better to always watch what you eat. Our well-being and health stability depends on what we take in as though we have vital organs in our body that are responsible for the absorption and they utilize these food accordingly.

We should try as much as possible to not feed ourselves with inappropriate food that are harmful to our system. Always it good food and have a diet routine. This will help a lot and by so doing, it will keep the doctor far away from us.


CONCLUSION

Good health is the ultimate thing we should be thinking about and we should do our possible best to stay away from food that are not of any health benefits to us.
