Thursday is ending, I went out today to buy some groceries and minor things, otherwise my day doesn't have much to tell. That is, except that I woke up late and with a bad nightmare, the kind of unpleasant dream where you realize it's a bad dream, but you can't wake up. Anyway, I managed to wake up and jumped out of bed, then I went straight to the kitchen to get a coffee, both to wake up better, and because of the old superstition that before telling a nightmare it is better to have a coffee.
Well, I must say that my brother reminded me, already being in the kitchen, that it is not very healthy to jump out of bed and run, at least at our age, and especially when I have a history of fainting due to nerve problems lazy and having a low blood pressure. Anyway, I had a good coffee and told him about the bad dream.

Está terminando el jueves, salí hoy a comprar algunos víveres y cosas menores, por lo demás mi día no tiene mucho que contar. Eso si exceptuamos que me desperté tarde y con una fea pesadilla, esa clase de sueño desagradable en que te das cuenta que es un mal sueño, pero no consigues despertarte. En fin, que logré despertarme y salté de la cama de un golpe, luego fui directo a la cocina a buscar un café, tanto para despertarme mejor, como por la vieja superstición de que antes de contar una pesadilla es mejor tomar un café.
Bien, debe decir que mi hermano me recordó, ya estando en la cocina, que no es muy saludable eso de saltar de la cama de golpe y correr, por lo menos a nuestra edad, y mas cuando tengo antecedentes de desmayos por problemas del nervio vago y por tener una tensión arterial tendiente a la baja. Como sea, me tomé un buen café y le comenté el mal sueño.

Apart from what has been said, there is nothing more to say about my personal things, my #life is very calm. So we can go on to comment on an ephemeris of #History, of the many that exist for today, the one that caught my attention is one that has to do with a #board game, with national and international competitions, Today is the World Scrabble Day. That board game that combines spelling, knowledge and mastery of the language, handling of letters, thinking ability and strategy in the use of one's own resources and those of the opponent.
This #game is something I don't have much experience in, but I remember that the Director of the School where I work was a good #Scrabble player, in fact, that university professor was a member of the National Team, and he participated with Frequently in national and international competitions. Among the memories I have with that, there is the occasion when we were in a meeting at the University and when we served a coffee, I joked that the color of the drink was already so soft that it was not a 'guayoyo' #coffee (variant of Xpresso with very low concentration of coffee with respect to water) but rather it was a 'recolado'. That last spanish #word caught his attention and he immediately searched for it in an application on his cell phone, then he was very happy and thanked me for introducing him to a word that he did not know and that was very good to play in his next competition, where he could use it to earn more points, by double vowel, or by using it in parts, so you could place on the board, in Spanish: 'cola', 'colado', 'recolado' and 'recolados'; among other combinations he was thinking of.
It's surprising, but I thought it was normal, people tend to be very alert and think quickly in the areas they really like. Anyway, today is a memory, I haven't seen the teacher for a long time, let's hope we can see each other again in a short time. Well, let's leave the publication up to this point, I wish you that you are well and that we can read each other again another time.

Fuera de lo dicho, no hay mas que contar sobre mis cosas personales, mi #vida es muy tranquila. Así que podemos pasar a comentar sobre una efemérides de la #Historia, de las muchas que hay para hoy, la que me llamó la atención es una que tiene que ver con un #juego de mesa, con competiciones nacionales e internacionales, Hoy es el Día Mundial del Scrabble. Ese juego de mesa en que se combina el deletreo, el conocimiento y dominio del idioma, el manejo de las letras, la habilidad de pensamiento y la estrategia en el uso de los recursos propios y los del oponente.
Este #juego es algo en lo que no tengo mucha experiencia, pero recuerdo que el Director de la Escuela en que yo trabaja era un buen jugador de #Scrabble, de hecho, ese profesor universitario era un miembro de la Selección Nacional, y participaba con frecuencia en competencias nacionales e internacionales. Entre los recuerdos que tengo con eso, está la ocasión en que estábamos en una reunión en la Universidad y al servirnos un café, bromeé que ya estaba tan suave el color de la bebida que no era un café ‘guayoyo’ (variante de Expreso con muy baja concentración de café con respecto al agua) sino que mas bien era un ‘recolado’. Esa última #palabra le llamó la atención y la buscó de inmediato en una aplicación en su celular, luego estaba muy contento y me agradecía por darle a conocer una palabra que no conocía y que era muy buena para jugarla en su próxima competencia, donde podía usarla para ganar mas puntos, por doble vocal, o por usarla en partes, así podría colocar en el tablero: ‘cola’, ‘colado’, ‘recolado’ y ‘recolados’; entre otras combinaciones que estaba pensando.
Es sorprendente, pero pensé que era normal, la gente suele tener la mente muy despierta y pensar rápido en las áreas que le gustan realmente. En fin, hoy es un recuerdo, no he visto al profesor desde hace tiempo, esperemos que nos podamos ver de nuevo en un tiempo breve. Bien, dejemos la publicación ya hasta este punto, te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.

Fue agradable leer la historia de el Director de la escuela donde tú trabajaste. Creo que esas personas desarrollan muy bien su cerebro, porque el jugar Scrabble ayuda a poner en acción el cerebro.

Gracias por comentar. Ciertamente que ese juego ayuda a desarrollar la agilidad mental, al menos eso he leído.
Lo de las pesadillas está ocurriendo con cada vez mas frecuencia, pero sé que es por preocupaciones que tengo que resolver.
Puedo afirmar que soy de las pocas personas que ha jugado Scrable en esta vida, y realmente no recuerdo por qué, jejejeje
Por cierto, no es bueno que se levante de la cama así de golpe o agitado, hay que darle tiempo al organismo de despertar totalmente.

Yo no he jugado el juego, lo he visto jugar, pero no confío en mis propias habilidades como para ponerme en el tablero yo mismo.
Estoy de acuerdo que es de levantarse de un salto no es bueno, pero en el momento yo estaba tan agitado que no lo pensé realmente.

I really don't know what to say about the Wikipedia thing, and I don't really know what DU-Scrabble is either.
Personally, I'm not a gamer and what little I know about this game is from the teacher I worked with.
