My Actifit Report Card: July 1 2020 - Why Buy DEC?

Happy July everyone! Today it actually rained part of the day but tonight when I went for my walk it was clear. There is almost a full moon out, and it lit my way along with my flashlight. I don't want to step on any snakes or frogs so I light the path in front of me with my flashlight!
A few days ago I was saying that we should buy DEC. it is the in-game currency of @splinterlands which is a very popular trading card game on The #Hive blockchain. The price was low, just a little over $0.50 per thousand but you can use them as if they were worth a dollar per thousand when you are buying packs or other game items.
Well now DEC IS UNDER $0.50 FOR A THOUSAND and I'm wondering why. I heard either a podcast or a video where @aggroed was talking about new things coming to #splinterlands including the ability to buy land. Once you had land then you could do things with it that would create things that you could combine into spells or spell augmentations or cards or something! So if you're into splinterlands, don't you want to buy DEC so that you can buy lands when they come out? I've heard that the smallest piece of land would cost round $5 which is 5000 DEC. SO IF YOU PLAY SPLINTERLANDS, LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS IF YOU ARE BUYING DEC.
