Alue Naga (Tributary of the Dragon River)
Alue Naga, a phrase in Acehnese if translated literally into English is 'Tributary of the Dragon River', a toponym from the past for a tributary of which we do not know the basis or reason for its naming which is based on the legend of the dragon. Now, Alue Naga is a coastal village in Banda Aceh inhabited by a fishing community, the sights commonly seen are boats moored on the beach in the middle of the river.
The river view at night is my goal for taking pictures. The dimly lit moonlit scene resulted in several long exposure shots, set at the exposure compensation setting on the Canon EOS 6D, EXIF 32.0 seconds; f/6.3; ISO 400, and variable focal length using the F17-40mm f/4L USM lens.
I have not succeeded in turning my photos there into a luxurious work of photographic art. Of the 9 photos in this post, only the first photo is good in my opinion. I'll come back later to see more footage.
