In order to create a new narrative, Lokesh Kanagaraj, the director of a Tamil film, combined the characters from his previous movie in a Tamil setting and, as suggested by the title, including the old movie "Vikram." The movie become a blockbuster hit starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Surya, and Bhagat Basil

Plot

Following a clandestine operation in the 1990s, the government humiliates and pursues Vikram and his spy team. Therefore, rather than preventing foreign invasions, Vikram, who has been living in seclusion for 30 years, is battling to protect his family from the populace.

In this case, Haris Baredi and Kalidas Jayaram, who play police officials, are also brutally murdered by masked individuals at the start of the movie along with Kamal Haasan. Additionally, masked men kill some police officers, and a private detective agent named Bhagat Basil is tasked with looking into these homicides.
Such firearms have never before been depicted in a Tamil film. They have arranged and ornamented the guns to such a degree that one wonders if there are that many guns—short-range, long-range, double-barrel guns, revolvers, and even large grenades. Artillery has yet again proven that this is insufficient.

The opening half of the screenplay, which is frantic and colorful, is carried entirely by Bhagat Basil. More sequences involving him are present in the first half. When Bhagat realized what it was, he pinned it in his own special way. A senior police officer named Sembon Vinod Jose was discovered throughout the investigation.

Bhagat Basil then ramps up the investigation, and a huge shock is in store until every puzzle piece is untangled and the murder's motive is made clear. The rest of the movie is about what transpired after that and what motivated him to kill Kamal Haasan and the policeman.

As the mafia don Chandanam, Vijay Sethupathi. Gold teeth, narcotics, strange hairstyles, and underplay are all serious threats. But it hardly qualifies as an attempt and lacks much allure. Bhagat Basil as a trustworthy policeman. a man who cracks the necessary answers while grinning and folding his fingers. The entire first half is Bhagat's domain. He is the target of every attack in the first half of the movie. Actors in the movie include Semban Vinod, Aruldas, Gayatri, Naren, Kalidas Jayaram, Santhanabharathi, and the cast of "Kaithi." As if this weren't enough, there were just Vijay Sethupathi's relatives in the entire house.

It must be acknowledged that Vikram Kamal's return with Kamal after a 4-year absence shocked both his fans and the Kollywood industry.
