At the time of the challenge announcement, me and my hubby were on the way to visit London, therefore, I thought it is something that I could reflect on.
When I think about our previous trips then I come to the idea that travelling either as a couple or close family is something that we prefer.
When you ask why, then there are many different reason for that, let's see what mean travel in a group:
more people, more different wishes: everything starts from travel point, some people like to come early to meeting point but others last minute, that means while waiting you get stressed if everyone is there and you start to worry if then trip will take place or not
on the way in transport, again, some people like to eat, others sleep, the third maybe just listen to music and be on their own. But if you are "unlucky" and the person next to you likes to chat and maybe the whole 5 or 10 hours and you have to listen to that, because you are polite and do not want to be rude
once you arrive, some people love to go by foot and explore historical place, but others like to visit city centre and visit shopping centre and cafes
in the evening food and who know maybe alcohol till morning hours for some and going to sleep early for others
Because we are all so different and we all want to enjoy the holiday then it could turn into stressful time rather relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
We all know that as a family we know the habits and characters of each other and we all know what we can do in order to make sure that everything goes well. That is why the perfect holiday with your partner or your family, two and kids.
That is what we did and we went to London, me and my hubby.
Even though we had to wake up at 4:30 it was no problem because we both wanted to take that early train and prepared everything in the evening, so stress in the morning and also no breakfast, we decided to each something later on train.
We chosen a hotel with little fridge in it and coffee machine but also kettle for some hot drink that Hotel provided. That is why when searching for Hotel we chosen "Leonardo" chain, that was previously "Jury Inn" hotels.

When we travel in winter or autumn when the weather is not really nice possibility of rainy days more than of a dry weather, we try to make sure that we have cosy hotel so that we can spend nice time inside.
When we travel with my fmaily, we have a certain plan and all agree with that:
wake up early, have breakfast and then start our day
we usually set up to see the sightseeing place and visit them early so that there are not many people and it is not crowded
we usually take some stuff for picnic and do not waste time for visiting any restaurants, because we are all the day on our feet and we are not really hungry but overwhelmed with the discovery of new place and beauty
Here are some photos from inside of Hotel while we were getting through check in, little bar for those who need to wait.
When we are back to hotel it is usually about 4 or 5 PM, when our son was little we did go to playground, usually hotel have such places for children and later on we have a dinner and enjoyed evening.
We do not stay long in the night but prefer to have a good sleep and be ready for the next day and another adventure.

Hello @stef1 hope your day is going well and When you travel you prefer going with your partner or family rather than a big group. Group trips can be tricky because everyone has different ideas about what they want to do., really liked your post wish you success 💖🤗🌺.
You are right that when we go in groups during travel, everyone's interest is not the same, some want to explore the place and some others are engaged in shopping there, due to which a lot of time is lost.
And yes raveling with loved ones is more relaxing and enjoyable because you understand everyone's preferences and can plan accordingly.
Thank you for reading my post, yes, stopped travel in a big group for a long time and we just enjoying our time and ourselves. Of course we often visit our fmaily and friends but it is always better to go back to our own space :)

Yes, it is something we do last few years, often people say that this is selfish but when we travel we want to enjoy our time and not to be dependent on others and that is then holiday :)
That's right, if we go with a group, then we can share our experiences with our friends and most importantly, we can share costs with the group,
And if we go alone then freedom is ours, and to do whatever we want, and whenever and wherever we want to stop.

I totally get that! When everyone has different ideas about what makes a perfect holiday, it can get a bit overwhelming. It's like trying to find the right balance to keep everyone happy can be a bit tricky.
Choosing a hotel with things like a little fridge and a coffee machine is a smart move. It's like making sure you have everything you need to start your day smoothly, especially when you're planning early mornings.
I think having a routine during family travels sounds great. Going to a playground, having dinner, and just enjoying the evening together is like creating special moments that make the trip memorable for everyone.

Thank you for visiting my post, yes, relaxed holiday is very important just for the sake of a feel of holiday without any scheduled meet up and visits.
Having modern phones it made it easier to capture some moments for later to look and to live again the moments :)
