SEC-S18W4 | My worst holiday travel memory | Disappointed surprise visit to my aunt's house ].
Hello friends,
Good to have you all in my post today, As a traveler there are times things, unexpected happens on our ways, should that stop us from traveling? No. I have encountered so many worst travel memories, I will just go with the most recent one.
When was your worst trip that you would like to forget?
It was on December 2023, this time my family will travel from far and near to be with our loved one in the villages. I came with my family. On the 25th of December we decided to surprise one of our cousins in a nearby town. When we asked who knows the place one of my sisters said she knows, we fueled our car and drove down to the town getting there my sister couldn't recognize the street. That was how she directed us from here and there until we became tired and tried my auntie's number to tell her we are at her her place the worst happened her number was switched off. That was how we wasted our fuel and came backed angrily without seeing my Aunty. It was the worst because we were well prepared knowing how happy my aunty will be seeing us. All the things we bought for her we went back with them.
What problems have you faced and who was with you?
We were four my brother,my two sisters and I. We were stranded. Since we were not sure of exactly where we are asking people around will be waste of time . We struggled to guess the street based on the last time we visited to no avail until we went back to our base .
How you managed this situation in the end?
At this point I was afraid that my brother will be angry at me because I was the one that initiated the idea of surprise visit.
I was shocked to see him laugh over everything, we bought some cold drinks by the roadside to revive ourselves,then we went back and I quickly rushed down to the kitchen and prepared his favorite soup for him. And as for my sister that claimed she knows our aunties place , since then we don't take her serious when she is making any input in our discussions.

I didn't remember to snap on that day , everybody was just anxious of locating my aunt's house to give her that surprise visit. The idea of traveling to visit someone without informing the person had been cancelled in our family . The travel taught us a very big lesson.

السلام علیکم امید ہے اپ خیریت سے ہوں گے مجھے پڑھ کر ہنسی بھی ا رہی ہے اور دکھ بھی ہو رہا ہے کہ اپ لوگوں کے ساتھ اچھا نہیں ہوا بعض دفعہ ایسا ہوتا ہے ہم بہت اوور کنفیڈنٹ ہوتے ہیں اور دوسروں کے اعتبار پر چل پڑتے ہیں اور جب ہم وہاں پہنچتے ہیں تو اسی طرح کی سچویشن ہوتی ہے اپ سب سے بدقسمتی کی بات یہ تھی کہ سیل اف سوئچ اف جا رہا تھا اور ظاہر ہے اپ لوگوں کا فیول بھی ضائع ہوا اور غصہ بھی ایا لیکن چلیں یہ زندگی کا حصہ ہے اور کبھی کبھار ایسا ہو جاتا ہے

Christmas is usually a period of bonding with family members. I have been in this shoes before. My own was that we trekked from my village to my aunt's village and on getting to the Junction that leads to her house I got confused. What made matter worse was that there was no network in the village to call her, thank God we know the name of the place and one old woman directed us to her house.
