SEC-S16W5 | A Trip With a Steemian User | A Vacation Plan with Heriadi

Recently my days have been jam packed with volunteer activities from dawn till dusk. Vacation is something I dream about at this tough time. Taking a break while enjoying the natural landscape, tasty food or local culture is the perfect way to chill out and clear our heads from heavy loads. Even though I've been on a few trips to tourist spots this year, they've all been strictly business trips so I'm creating this post as a reference in case I go on vacation someday.

As for my future travel arrangements I've chosen to go with my mate @heriadi. Why? Well because he's been footing the bill for my coffee every time so I'm pretty sure he'll be the one taking care of all our accommodations and expenses on the trip until we reach our destination LOL.
Nah, I'm just kidding by the way. The main reason I want to bring him along is because we share similar interests especially when it comes to coffee and food. So it would be incredibly fun to take him on vacay considering how hectic @heriadi's schedule has been lately. It seems like he could take a break too.
Following our conversation it seems like Heriadi is planning to go to a nearby 'getaway'. Specifically we're looking for a place within Aceh. So we're planning a trip to the 'Kota Dingin' Takengon. The reason is that this city offers everything you'd want in a vacation spot, from its landscapes to its culinary and rich traditions.
We're planning a two day vacation including round trip time. The departure point will be started from Bayu, North Aceh (Heriadi lives here btw). From Bayu, we'll head towards Kota Lhokseumawe to reach Jl. KKA which is one of the shortcuts to get to Kota Dingin. Then we'll continue on and make a stop at Gunung Salak to rest a while. Gunung Salak is known for its delicious coffee and its views. What a double combo!
Here is the itinerary I have prepared in table format:

| 2 | 08.00–09.00 WIB | Have breakfast and check-out from the hotel |
| 09.00–15.00 WIB | Visit local attractions Part II | |
| 15.00–17.00 WIB | Coffee tasting session | |
| 17.00–20.00 WIB | Going back to Bayu, North Aceh |
For the schedule above, it can be more flexible, but I always need an itinerary to ensure that each activity does not exceed excessive time limits. There are some places that we may visit during those two days as listed in the schedule 'Visit local attractions Part I and Part II.' Among these places are Pantan Terong, Burni Telong volcano, Lut Tawar Lake, and the only apple orchard tourism in Aceh.

I've seen the reason you choose heriadi as your travel partner, he takes care and handle your coffee every time, I believe he will not fall your back because he love doing it. Your two day trip looks interesting because it won't charge too much accomodations rental fee. Your places to visit on this two days trip will really make your trip a remarkable one, best of luck man.

Actually, we had planned months ago to go to Takengon with the small team here, but because of our workloads we still postponed it, I hope you can travel to Indonesia and have a trip together with the steemian team here. Just a week before Ramadhan my team actually went for a mountain expedition in the area and I was the D-Treck (tracking and rescue division) leader and monitored them during the expedition as well. I hope I can write it on the post when I have a little free time
