SEC-S16W2 | Solo vs Group in Travel | Uyo Steemians Group Travel to A 5 Star Hotel

90% of those in urban areas have at one point left their place of residence either to visit an aunt or to an excursion or trip. In this visit or trip, we either go alone or we go with friends and families. There are advantages of going alone and there are disadvantages of going in groups of which I'll spell out.

There's a a saying "The fewer the merrier" meaning that when there are less number of people in a trip, it becomes more interesting and food and drinks especially are in excess and taken in to one's satisfaction.

There's also another saying that "The more we are together, the happier we shall be" implying that being together with people and not being solo means happiness. This post will highlight my trip to a 5 star hotel with steemians

My choice of travelling is in groups with the following reasons. Before stating my reasons, I'll love to channel my discussion using pictures of group trips I've embarked on. From these pictures,my reasons for going in group and not alone would be stated clearly. These are pictures of group trips I've embarked on.

Going on a field trip	This picture shows my colleagues in school and I on a field trip. From our facial expressions, you can tell the trip went well and that we were happy about everything. At first, I felt lonely as I didn't want to socialise since they are actually my senior colleagues but withstanding that, they treated me with so much respect and as the last born of the group. I felt so among like in my family. The experiences, laughter, crazy moments of looking for vehicles, insults and everything made the trip an unforgettable one. _Reasons why I love group travel.
Steemians group trip	This was a trip I organised with steemians residing in Uyo. My adventure with them was just so crazy. We experienced things that made us think outside the box, the crazy moments, the steemit games and quizzes and some encouragement and advices on how to navigate steemit without giving up was worth the trip. _This can only happen when you're in a group _
My department travel to attend a funeral	Normally, it's fine to honour and event singly but we thought of going out on a group to represent the institution in the funeral. The love and moments created which made me keep this picture up till today can't be done if you honoured that event alone. In fact, you'll feel bored.

So from the pictures shown above , my reasons for choosing group trip or travel are clear with the following advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages

• Like I said earlier, the more we are together, the happier we'll be. There's no solemn moment sited in these pictures because I'm with people and they are with me together. If I were alone, probably this moments of happiness wouldn't be created. So group travel brings about happiness.

• Moments, fun activities, experiences and life lessons can only be learnt in a group travel or trip because you'll be socialising with people.

• The tendencies to be reserved and being all by yourself won't be seen because everytime, there's always a room to smile and relate with people even though you're the most introverted.

Disadvantages

• Like I said, the fewer the merrier. I can recall when I went on a trip with these steemians. If I were the one going alone, I would have enjoyed my money to the fullest of my ability with inner satisfaction. What I would have eaten on the lone travel without anyone struggling it with me would have been loud. This is one of the disadvantages of going out in groups. Money is wasted and that satisfaction when it comes to food isn't just there.
  

• Sometimes going in groups requires coordination and lot of expenses that may not have been intended of it were you alone. These are a few of the advantages and disadvantages.

The differences I experienced can't be compared in these modalities. I'll start with Solo travel.

Solo Travel and Group Travel in terms of Cost

If I'm traveling alone, I'll not have to spend so much on catering for the needs of others and asides that, I'll enjoy to the fullest. It becomes merrier with just myself and I. Imagine taking out 470 steems for enjoyment and spending_. If you're taking this out alone, you'll spend and smile comfortably but if you're in a group, you won't spend comfortably as you'll want to sort the needs of others.

You may not be this satisfied. This is in terms of costs. The costs would be reduced in terms of transportation, entry fees, games and fun activities like swimming that has a fee of 2k per person. If it's just you, it's 2k you'll spend bit of taking a group and you're sponsoring, you may spend more than the 2k. So Solo travel is perfect in this regards. It is cost effective compared to taking a large crowd or group of people.

Going in group: I'll definitely go with my family or people I know can sort themselves out in terms of expenses so they'll not have to unnecessarily rely on you for everything. The kind of people I went on a steemit travel include;

Asides the expenses, going out in a group with people that are vibby and crazy will only make the travel interesting especially the crazy moment inside the vehicle. Very hilarious I must say. All this can only be possible if you go out with people that have fun flowing in their bloodstream.

Alone: The activities I'll do when going on a lone travel is meditation and self enjoyment first. You need to first of all enjoy your money before flexing others. So these are the two major activities I'll venture into including photographing.

The best spots as shown below is the 5 star hotel. I'm never enjoyed any place as beautiful and cool as this in a group outing. So if you want to hangout and you're in Uyo and you have money, you can take yourself out there or your group of friends to spend moments in such beautiful place. You'll get to see a lot of fascinating sites in that place that tells us more than just nature.

In conclusion, it's good to travel in group because if traveling alone is the most boring but when it comes to expenses, traveling in group is not sometimes considered as the expenses is always too much and other things but trust me, traveling in group will forever be planted as a seed in your mind.
