Steem Women club Engagement Contest1 | traveling to Bauchi State for my vacation | by @yakspeace

Hello stemains, greetings from this end, I hope we are all doing well. I'm so glad participating in the steemit engagement challenge and today I will be participating in a contest here in @steemwomenclub titled; this year holiday/ visit.as we all know the body need rest after much work and in my next holiday this year July ending i will be traveling to Bauchi State here in Nigeria then i will visit my Aunty in Abuja.

The reason why i want to travel to Bauchi State is because I heard so much about the state and I have been longing to visit the State, and While growing as a child, I have heard so much about game reserves and the activities being carried out especially the Bauchi game reserve which is not actually far away from my State of origin. The stories and what I have read about game reserves had made me fall in love with the game reserve and it has always been my dream to visit the game reserve someday. Happily for me, I now have the opportunity to visit Bauchi state in my next holiday and the yankari game reserve which is located in the state

As I mentioned earlier I will be traveling to Bauchi State for my best holiday ending of july. I plan on going outside my state to spend my holiday especially to a place I would have fun and enjoy myself just to relax and reduce stress.

First i will go to the market and buy some of the things i need for my vacation after that i will try and make my reservations before traveling to Bauchi State because i don't want to lose an opportunity of getting lodge and i intend to spend one week at Bauchi before going to Abuja which I will spend one three days in my Aunt's house.

Getting ready to go on a one week trip to a game reserve in yankari a place in the state of Bauchi in Nigeria, which is about four (4) hrs from my State,in the morning i will put all the necessary items and clothes i would use to embark on the trip, and i have a checklist about what i will do each day of the week at Bauchi State. After all had been set, i will take my bath then get ready, as i live the house i will go to the mararaba motor Park and enter the bus that will transport me to Bauchi State.

If i reached Bauchi State, i will take a cab From the park to the yankari game reserve.i will go to my Lodge and rest till the next day i will explore yankari game reserve.

Yankari game reserve in Bauchi State is the most developed game reserve in Nigeria it has lots of views and also good for sightseeing apart from that it's animals some, move around freely while the dangerous ones are locked up in cages not to harm human being. It has a warm springs water which flows from point to point and people do swim and warm their body like it's bathtub. I will also love to watch the spider Man movie which was out recently then make new friends and sing karaoke music together 🤣I know it will be fun.

After that i would love to go hiking of which they usually do in groups and participate in mountain climbing. And aslo i go up to the kalban hills where i will see the tourist view of the game reserve. I will also Visit the zoo and see some animals most especially the monkeys i will like to play with them😁.

My last day at Bauchi i will love to go to the town and view some of there structure and also go a spot where they fry waina (Masa). Bauchi people are know for the best when it's come to frying of Masa they know how to process it well, so i will also go and enjoy it😋

From there i would travel to Abuja the country capital to visit my aunty who just put to birth because it's been a while since we saw each other last, stay in her place for like three days helping her out with chors and other necessary activity. In my stay with her i would like to visit the national gallery and Nike gallery to feed my eyes with ancient fact about Nigeria and to know more about my countries heritage.from there i will travel back back home.

In conclusion,as I have plan on this holiday I have already made up my checklist as I mentioned earlier of which I put my important priority to achieve during the holidays especially at the yankari game reserve in Bauchi where I would spend up to a week there before proceeding to Abuja. it's going to be fun and entertaining because it's really been awhile since i left home to visit places to have an experience and feed my eyes with beautiful colours and structure.
