Steem Women Club Engagement Contest 1: The Most Important Woman In My Life

Hello friends,

I am so happy that at last I have made it to the Promise land 😀.
I said this because I have finally been given the opportunity to make a quality post in this community, and it will be acknowledge.

I have so much admired the steem women club, but due to its rules, I couldn't participate in it's activities and finally, I have been able to be a participant in one of it's contest, it is a joy to behold.

The contest for today centers on the most valuable woman in my life, who could she be? What has she done to earn that post in my life? What can other ladies learn from her?

Follow along as I begin.

THE MOST IMPORTANT WOMAN IN MY LIFE

Having gone through several entries of my fellow steemian, I must confess that I am proud of the female gender and how they have positively affected lives.

From the entries I read, many selected their mothers as the most important Woman in their life, others selected their wives, still other chose their girl friends.
And very few selected their sisters, does this mean that sisters have no positive effect in the lives of others ☹️? Never!

The most important lady in my life is my one and only sister.
Her names are Adaku Esther Obioma, she's short and brown in complexion.

She is a student of the University of Calabar, in Nigeria.
And she's studying environmental resource management and she's presently in her third year.

WHY I LOVE HER

There are numerous reasons why I love my dear sister, my love for her is beyond words.
Here are few reasons I love my sister.

• SHE IS HARDWORKING:

Aside my mother, I have not seen any lady as hardworking as my sister.
My sister is a very hard-working lady, she goes to work as early as 6am and returns very late.

Even with her busy schedule, she never leaves her room untidy, always ready to keep the house sparkling.

• SHE IS OUTSPOKEN:

One outstanding quality I love about my sister is her outspokenness, she never allows anyone to step on her rights.

I can remember when we were both going for an outing and we were harrased by touts. Due to the fact that I hate troubles, I tried settling them so they can stop following us.

When I brought out money to give to them, she asked why I wanted to give them money and she asked me not to, but due to the fact that I was scared, I insisted to give them.

Then something funny happened, they refused to accept the money, they requested that I topped the money, and this got my sister angry, that she stood on her ground that we aren't giving them a dine.

They became furious, but when they saw the braveness of my sister, they had no other choice but to let us go.

Ever since that incident, I had determine to be always brave and stand on my right no matter what happens, she indeed is my inspiration.

• SHE IS CARING:

Many individual might reason that, yes, everyone is caring.
The caring ability of my sister is outstandingly great. Or will I rather say my sister cares to a fault.

My sister is a kind of person that sacrifices everything she has for her siblings.

I can remember when we were younger, my parents went to work and left us alone at home with some money to get something to eat.

We were given our separate money and she asked that she kept it for me but I refused.
After sometime, I misplaced my money, I didn't know what to do as I was so famished.

I couldn't believe that my sister sacrificed hers just for me to have something to eat, I gave in to tears.
That incident was so touching and this made my sister earned my maximum respect.

I can also remember when we will be given different portions of house chores to do.
She'll do hers while I would be busy playing around.
Then when I discover that my parents will soon be back, I would hurriedly try to do mine, and of course, I can't finish it within that duration.
My lovely sister would then come to my aid and assist me with the house chores.

If I should begin to relate the reasons why I love my sister, time will fade us because my sister is outstandingly great.

MY MEMORIES WITH HER

I have a lot of pleasant memories with my sister, I will mention but a few:

• OUR MOMENT AT THE POOL:

On this faithful day, after all house chores have been completed, she came to me and said "Charles, I feel like going to the pool, come join me" with Joy of heart I accepted the offer and I went with her.

We got to the pool, paid the pool's cashier, had a shower and dived into the pool.

While at the pool many individuals refered to us as happy couples, we would just laugh over it and look at ourselves and say "they don't know we are just siblings".

We spent some time in the pool and practiced a lot of swimming strokes.

• OUR GIST MOMENT:

Another memory about my sister that I want to share is the our quiet time together.

My sister is the only being on earth that knows my deepest secrets and she has proven to be trustworthy.

I remember when my sister and I started relating our secrets to each other, I expected her to scold me or better still report me, but she kept my secret and advised me on what to do.

My sister is the most lovely creatures I have met, and I'm glad to have her.

CONCLUSION

Truth be told there are numerous things I can relate about my sister and I.
She is an outstanding creature.
