After my morning exercise, I went ahead to freshen up and then prepare food for my family and also do some house chores. When am completely done with that part of the routine, I signed in to my steemit page and steem for the remaining hours of the day.
Today, I made Banga soup (palm nut soup). This soup is very easy to make, it is full of flavor from the herbs. Banga soup can be eaten with starch or pounded yam.
The ingredients used;
- Palm nut
- Meat
- Stock fish (cod)
- Periwinkle
- Fish
- Water leaf
- Atama leaf (heinsia crinita)
- Maggi
- Crayfish
- Salt
The steps I took in preparing the soup;
Step 1
After washing the fish and meat, I added some ingredients to it then steam (steam them separately)
Step 2
While steaming meat and fish, I prepared other things; washed the periwinkle, washed and sliced water.
Step 3
I washed the palm nut, cook, pound, add warm water to extract the oil from it then filter into the cooking pot.
Step 4
I added all the ingredients to it except meat and fish because it was already soft, cook for some minutes.
Step 5
After a while, I poured meat and fish into the soup pot, cook for few minutes and the soup was ready.
After working alone in the kitchen as a woman, I was exhausted and weak, so I had to prepare pumpkin juice immediately to gain energy to clean up the kitchen and put some things in order.
Juice ingredients;
- Pumpkin leaf
- A tin of evaporated milk
- Malt
Methods of preparation
Making of this juice is easy and stress free, it takes less than 15 minutes to finish. Here are the steps I took;
Step I
Wash and slice the leaf.
Step II
Squeeze out the juice and filter into a glass.
Step III
Add milk and malt to it, stire for few seconds and the juice is ready.

In conclusion, carrying out daily routine as woman is really good and recommendable because these activities can improve mental health by creating healthy habit, reduce stress and it is great example for a woman to set to encourage others to try routine as well. Thank you!
