Greetings wonderful women of SteemWomen Club Community. How are you all doing today?
Because I am doing beautifully well over here. It feels great to share my diary for Friday, 11th February, 2022.
MORNING
By 4:30am I was awake, but I was still on the bed till 5am when my friend called me for morning prayers. After prayers we started our workout which lasted for an hour. I did some chores after the exercise, took my bath, we also had breakfast before going to school.
AFTERNOON
I spent 3 hours in school. Immediately I was done in school for the day, I rushed to the park to join the available vehicle to my family house because I was to join my dad to attend my neighbor's traditional marriage. I got home on time and went out to polish my nails. My baby sister went with me to the salon.
I was done with the nail and decided to stopped by my tailor's shop to get my dress ( the marriage uniform ). When I got there, she started telling me unnecessary stories on how she couldn't meet up with making the dress. I quietly left the shop so to not get myself annoyed. I was really disappointed because she assured me that; she will deliver on time. Although, I sent the material to her late for her to make the dress.
Evening
I was on my way home when my dad called and asked me to check my time. I noticed that it was already few minutes after 4. I rushed home, showered and look for any simple available dress to put on. We left the house for the marriage but stopped by at my cousin's place to pick up his wife and children.

We got to the venue, stayed for a little while and returned home by 6:30pm.

Sorry about the disappointment you got from the seamstress, That has happened to me before too. You did the right thing by not getting annoyed and you left quietly. It's good to always have a plan B for occasions. I do hope you had fun at the wedding. Thanks for sharing with us
It was different experience totally. I've never been that unfortunate with tailors before. Although they deliver late but not to even make a move by not cutting the material. Together, I was glad that the marriage was successful and I was also able to attend.
