CONTEST: MY TOP 3 POST NOMINATION THAT DIDNT GET ATTENTION LAST YEAR
Am so excited to be here firstly because this is the first contest am getting involved with in this new year. I wont forget to say happy new year to you all.
I appreciate @steem-ghana for having me here, i say a big thank you to @juzkid @oppongk for hosting this contest. My special regards go @nattybongo.
The theme of this contest is very vital and i didnt want to miss out so i decided to be a part of it. Seat tight and read till the end.
Last year was an amazing year for me on this platform. My experiences was cool as i joined steemit early last year in the month of febuary.
I love writing and that was one of my driving force for my consistency last year. We all know it takes time to make quality posts, and for me, it takes me approximately 2-3 hours to make a quality post. Now imagine after putting such long time into writing and didnt get any support from steemians or curators. Sometimes it could be very depressing you know..
I made some post last year that didnt get support and here are 3 of such post.
This post is titled what can be done by leaders to sustain the current active members this was actually a contest hosted. The post talks about the various efforts leaders of a community can put in place for the members of their community to be active and ways to encourage members who are not active to become active.
The post is full of insights and beautiful ideas for community admins. Such ideas includes
leaders learning to acknowledge every post made in their community either through comments or votes or both.
Awareness to be made about the various clubs like club5050 club75 and club100 by leaders of community in other to encourage those who have not join to join by making them see the need.
The title of this post is Parks in pictures here in lagos city. This was also a contest hosted and i got involved in it. The post talks about several parks found in the city of lagos. Parks as in companies that travel by land, updates like the routes the companies ply, their travel ticket amount, the type of buses used.
This post is of importance because its quality and it gives a detailed explanation of how this companies operates. And gives you a clue of what to expect when you want to travel with such companies. You would not need to be mislead or confused about where to to find this companies because the address is also stated in the post and all the services rendered by these companies.
The third post i have here was titled My steemit experience and how steemit has impacted my life
I think this post is important because it talks about my steemit experience. How i got encouraged to continue on the platform even when there was no visible reason why i should. How steemit has impacted my life, the mistakes i made and the lessons i learnt.
The post is of great importance because a steemian who is discouraged can read this oost and get encouraged to continue writing. The steemian who is about to make mistakes and read this post and avoid the mistakes i made, learning the lessons i learnt too and become a better writer.
I really appreciate this ample opportunity given to us to nominate 3 of our post from last year that was not given the attention we expected. I must say this is so unusual and am happy am a part of the contest.

Very true, posts on the blockchain needs attention and when these posts do not get them, the author becomes so discouraged. Thank you for bringing your three nominations.
@ruthjoe with your first nomination, personally I was a part of that contest. Your points raised are pellucid. Leaders should learn to at least acknowledge every post made in the community. Very true at times, individuals who attempt contest do their very best to make contest interesting but they become fed up when their posts they spent some time to write don't get upvote.. Secondly, leaders should upvote post no matter how little the votes are. Truly these urge steemians on. Then also, leaders must educate members on #club5050 initiative and they must also check on members. I think leaders will visit the post again . You did great in that contest I must frankly commend you on that effort.
It is surprising to find that in your second post you had no vote but you had 19 comments . Of all the writing and research. I feel for you. Keep the spirit high. I have visited it . Nigeria has beautiful parking places. GIG logistics and its reception is amazing. I really love the car you displayed at Chisco transport com. Bonny way motor is also amazing. You did well by helping steemians to Know the fare. You did amazing sweetheart. Keep it up dear.
In your third post you did great. How steemit has impacted on your life and lessons. So you met steemit in a conference? That is amazing. Steemit has taught you alot financially , giving you patience, hardwork and consistency . In fact things at times become very rosy and changes at times. Let us keep our heads up and continue with the passion. I have visited all your posts and they are worth it. I employ other steemians to have a taste on them. I will one day visit Nigeria. I hope I will enjoy my stay.
