Abstract photography is, in my opinion, when a picture does not invite me to recognise a specific object, but when the picture replaces the depiction of the object with the depiction of shapes and colours and thus invites me not to want to "recognise" anything. In this way, the process of seeing itself becomes visible. I know that the photo was taken in a real situation, I know that it has not been altered afterwards, and I see that it draws my gaze back to itself.
In my eyes, an abstract photo is a question, namely: How do you actually take a look? What are you doing when you are looking? A non-abstract photo can also ask me this question, but I can then more easily pass over it without paying attention to it by staying with the object I am presented with.

...ist meiner Meinung nach, wenn ein Bild mich nicht dazu auffordert, einen bestimmten Gegenstand zu erkennen, sondern wenn das Bild die Abbildung des Gegenstandes ersetzt durch die Abbildung von Formen und Farben und mich somit einlädt, nichts „erkennen“ zu wollen. Es wäre schön, das Foto auf den Kopf zu stellen, um die Wahrnehmung zu ändern (seien Sie nicht beleidigt, dies ist nur eine Vermutung), das Gehirn bestimmt hartnäckig den Boden, die Wände, den beleuchteten Vorraum. Das war wohl missverständlich von mir formuliert.
Ich wollte damit nicht über das von mir gemachte Foto sprechen, sondern über abstrakte Fotografie im allgemeinen.
Mein Foto ist in meinen Augen "nicht abstrakt genug". Es zu drehen, wäre wie ein nachträglicher Eingriff, nicht dem Bild inhärent als Möglichkeit.
