Hello my dear Steemians,

For those of you who know well our Plagiarism Research works the moment you see that alligator you know that someone is caught by the Fraud and this time it is absolutely arrogant user who pretend to be the Artist and also even displayed her website link. Therefore, we telling from our experience: Do not trust anyone better double check and then like us present the evidence

But let's go from the beginning of the story

Stolen Identity and fake account @faviannaart

First of all wanted to remind you we @stef1 and @myskye are Curating Visual Art on Steemit platform. It is no matter if people posting in our COmmunity World of Xpilar or not we are still looking through the tag #art.

Three days ago we noticed this blog that has a lot of Photography of a beautiful woman and beautiful art

First of all the account made me a bit cautious, because the new user on Steemit and why starting posting not in "Introduction" tag but in "SteemitWomen Club"

We looked at the account and there is a link to the website, after visiting it we discovered a Strong Self-Confident Lady who is an Activist and even there is a Wikipedia about her:

Reaction of Abuser @faviannaart

After we received a confirmation from Favianna, we have downvoted the account and his reaction was that. Please pay attention to the English Language that the user is writing:

  • A lot of Grammar Errors not only the words but how the sentences are built. You remember the user is pretending to be an American
  • The style of writing has no sense it is obvious that the user has absolutely poor English language knowledge

The real Lady like Favianna definitely will not speak like that. Here is how she speaks, beautiful pure language, polite and respectful

Her Youtube Videos, of course because she is American you can hear her Voice and American Accent and the way she speaks

This user also attempted to post in Hive

  • if there are any links to website then visit them and contact the user just say hello and ask if he is the user from Steemit

  • You can't imagine how many Fake accounts using the name and Reputation of already established Professional Artists or Photographers. How many poems and stories and reviews that are copied and pasted in order to get the attention of Curators.

  • Make sure you are checking the Hive blog as some of the users are already revealed as Fake and blacklisted on Hive too.

We are glad that our Project of Fighting Plagiarism and Abuse on Steemit is supported by the Steemit Team and @steemcurator01. It is time consuming work but we want to keep the reputation of Artists clear.

Попытки мошенничества не прекращаются...это печально, но ожидаемо.

Thanks!!! You make life in the community cleaner!

I am fully in support of your actions, the cyber space is over saturated with scam!

Let's fight it!

Wow, you really did a great work of identifying "similar criminal elements".

Excellent job of uncovering thieves and identity violators.

Thank you for reading and supporting it :)

Wonderful job! Identity theft is not only abuse on the platform, it's the serious crime with the serious consequences.

Yes, agree, but abusers seems not really bothered with it taking it like a joke.

Well done @stef1 Incredible to see the lengths that people go to, to continue in their deception. Trying to portray you as the perpetrator 😑😏🙄

Yes, it is but also that at the end they get very angry when rewards of posts are withdrawn, like they have deserved it in right way.

Very irrational way of thinking. Steemit is not for crooks, @stef1

Atentos en todo momento a este post....

Yes, people should do that :)

Congratulations @stef1 and the rest of the team which is fighting against fraud. You do a priceless work.

On the other hand, is there any option to know, for instance by the IP, who or from where is the offender?

That is interesting question. I believe that should be possible to detect, likely the programmer guys may know.

What do you think @the-gorilla is it possible to detect IP address?

This is a good post that will help you understand all about IP tracking. Source

Yes and no. My understanding is that Steemit does not track or record IP addresses and that this decision won't change.

Similarly, the prevalence and increasing use of VPNs and browsers like Brave which hide the user's true identity will reduce its effectiveness as an anti-abuse solution.

So technically yes, it's possible. But not something that Steemit will ever introduce.

Thank you very much for deciphering what was done within the platform and what wrong ways were used. Expressing that this is wrong to the other user in a courteous language also shows how institutionally and well you work.

Thank you for viewing this post and I am glad that people around would know and hopefully keep an eye on such suspicious cases.

This is going to cause steemians to work hard and try to create their own content. Thanks for the post

The people with bed intention will try it again on other way, very little of them learn from their mistakes :)
