“Half Moon Serenade” / @SkinnyGirl
Last Tuesday, April 5, on a beautiful night, a work by the Bolivarian sculptor Ramón Morales Rossi, in honor of the group "Serenata Guayanesa" was revealed on the Paseo Orinoco in Ciudad Bolívar, celebrating his 50 years of artistic career.
The work called "Serenata de Media Luna", weighs two and a half tons and was made with stones from the Sapoara slab. Said stones and construction cabins in the work, remember the mining abundance of Guayana.
At the end of the opening event, all those present enjoyed a concert with the most important and significant songs from their extensive repertoire. My favorites, the waltz “Ciudad Bolívar”, “Sapo”, “Viajera del Río”, “Casta Paloma”, among others.
