Belajar Macro Photography bersama @sultan-aceh

Today was a very interesting and different experience than usual. @zulbahri and I decided to learn macro photography at @sultan-aceh's durian garden. Since morning, we have prepared all the camera equipment and macro lenses that we have.

When we arrived at the durian garden, we were warmly welcomed by @sultan-aceh. His durian garden is very wide and green, with towering durian trees. From a distance, everything looked like a beautiful sight, but I knew the real challenge would begin when we started focusing on the small details.

Sultan showed various interesting corners of the garden, from durian flowers that were blooming to leaves that were starting to turn yellow. Studying with Sultan is very helpful. He has in-depth knowledge of macro techniques and shares valuable tips, such as how to set up lighting and choose the right angle to capture the beauty hidden in every detail.

We spent hours photographing insects searching for nectar, water droplets sticking to leaves, and the unique texture of durian skin. Every time I look at the results of my camera, I feel like I discovered a new world that was previously invisible.

Zulbahri and I exchanged ideas and photos, sometimes engaging in very technical discussions and sometimes just enjoying a quiet moment while taking photos. We also took a short break while enjoying the fresh durian that Sultan provided—the taste was so sweet and delicious, perfect for increasing our energy.

Today really opened my eyes to the small and often overlooked beauty of the world. Thank you to @sultan-aceh for teaching us many things and providing an extraordinary opportunity to explore the world of macro photography in a very special place.

I came home with lots of interesting photos and precious memories. I feel like immediately sharing this catch with friends and maybe planning the next macro adventure.
