3 GRAFFITI IN BARCELONA / 3 GRAFFITIS EN BARCELONA

Hello to all friends of the WOX community and urban art lovers in general.

In my street tour in search of street art to photograph, I found these three blind doors with three images. All of them had the Superman symbol.

Today, enlarging the images, I saw a signature: LeDiesis. Researching I found out that the artists are two friends who started their project to create "Superwomen" in the city of Florence.

It was celebrating the 8th March, women's day, where they hung 8 posters of famous and brilliant women around the city, among them the astrophysicist Margherita Hack and the neurologist Rila Levi Montalcini.

The poetess Alda Merini and the opera singer Maria Callas were also represented by LeDiesis.

They use the paste-up technique, posters designed in the studio, which are then pasted up in the streets of the city at night.

The message they try to convey is that we all have "superpowers" within us, an inner strength that allows us to face adversities and achieve goals. To which I add that "if we don't make it, that's OK".

The works are very striking, they transmit joy and the spectator empathises with them.

In the centre of Barcelona I found these three graffiti:

You have to see what a brand can do! .... Hay que ver a lo que puede llevarte una firma!

3 graffitis en Barcelona.

Hola a todos los amigos de la comunidad WOX y amantes del arte urbano en general.

En mi recorrido callejero en busca de street art que fotografiar, encontré estas tres puertas ciegas con tres imágenes. Todas ellas llevaban el símbolo de Superman.

Hoy, ampliando las imágenes, vi una firma: LeDiesis. Investigando he averiguado que las artistas son dos amigas que iniciaron su proyecto de crear "Supermujeres" en la ciudad de Florencia.

Fue celebrando el 8 de marzo, día de la mujer, donde colgaron por la ciudad 8 carteles de mujeres célebres y brillantes, entre ellas la astrofísica Margherita Hack y la neuróloga Rila Levi Montalcini.

La poetisa Alda Merini, la cantante de ópera María Callas, también han sido representadas por LeDiesis.

Utilizan la técnica del paste-up, carteles diseñados en el estudio, que luego pegan de noche por las calles de la ciudad.

El mensaje que intentan transmitir es que todos poseemos "superpoderes" dentro de nosotros, una fuerza interna que nos permite afrontar adversidades y lograr metas. A lo que yo añado que "si no lo conseguimos, tampoco pasa nada".

Las obras son muy llamativas, transmiten alegría y el espectador empatiza con ellas.
