Glad for the sales and the money to go to school. Thank you so much for the kind words. It feels very good to send paintings off to new homes, especially just moments after I met their new care providers:)
One can never really tell if his or her art appeals to others. Exhibitions are a sort of “coming out” ceremony, but they happen over and over again (as long as the painter can stand it), which is a pleasure/pain that must strike a balance, else upset homeostasis.
When you have your next opening, I will make sure to be there figuratively, like the art on the wall, to support you!
P.S. These pop-up shows keep giving. I have an appointment this week to show the work to the curator of American art at the Memorial Art Gallery. That’s a big step for a small town painter.
Let’s hope she has a sweet tooth:)
