RE: Opening Night Photos
Hi @serap ,
Thank you so much for the kind words. It feels very good to send paintings off to new homes, especially just moments after I met their new care providers:)
One can never really tell if his or her art appeals to others. Exhibitions are a sort of “coming out” ceremony, but they happen over and over again (as long as the painter can stand it), which is a pleasure/pain that must strike a balance, else upset homeostasis.
When you have your next opening, I will make sure to be there figuratively, like the art on the wall, to support you!
P.S. These pop-up shows keep giving. I have an appointment this week to show the work to the curator of American art at the Memorial Art Gallery. That’s a big step for a small town painter.
Let’s hope she has a sweet tooth:)
It is definitely great happiness to meet the new families of the paintings, especially after a nice conversation :)
The way you put your perspective on your comments that encourage me to think about it reminds me that you are a writer :)
It is very motivating to know your support for the exhibition, thank you very much :)
By the way, Congratulations on your important appointment at the Memorial Art Gallery, this is great news :)
If something goes wrong it's only because she's on a no-sugar diet :D
Oh I don’t put all my eggs in one basket. I’ll put out cheese and cashews too:)
Always merry and bright!
Ron
Wow, well played :D
Greetings :)
Thank you! I have another “mini-opening” this Friday. More time for photos:)
Oops. I understand the context now. Yes, thank you.
