My trek to Annapurna Base Camp by @sampu - Part 4 - (PowerUp 100%)

Those who read the previous part may remember that we are a group of eight indians - Abhishek, Ambar, Ankita, Binoy, Kathakali, Tapas, Ujjwal, and myself Sampat have completed Annapurna Base Camp trek. I'm writing the travelogue in parts.

We reached Chomrong (2,170 m) on 04-April-2021. On 05-April-2021 morning, I came out from the room and Mount Annapurna south range greeted me "Good Morning".

We completed our breakfast at the open terrace. It was a nice experience.

We came to know that we will get electricity in the hotels entire trek route. Hence we dropped our power banks, extra batteries we were carrying in our hotel at Chomrong. I have also dropped the trek shoe whose sole came off yesterday. We will be collecting these in our way back.

We settled the bill and got ready to start our trek by 9am. Today our target is reach till Dovan.

The trek route from Chomrong is down till Chomrong-khola. There is a wired bridge to cross the river.

After crossing the bridge, the road is steep climb by stone steps till Tilche. From Tilche it is plain road till Lower Sinuwa. From Lower Sinuwa, again climb to Upper Sinuwa (2,339 m)

From Upper Sinuwa, the trails goes through dense forest. It is gradual ascending first and then a steep descent to Bamboo (2,339 m). We had our lunch with egg-noodle-soup at Bamboo.

From Bamboo, we had to cross a river through wooden bridge and the climb. Post the climb there is plain road till Dovan (2,579 m). We decided to stay at Dovan as this is already late afternoon.

Cost : 500 NPR or 6.76 USD per double bed room with common toilet outside. Food cost extra.

I had pizza at dinner.

We trekked around 10.5 km today. Gained altitude from 2,170 m (Chomrong) to 2,579 m (Dovan).
