Parque Europa located in the city of Torrejón de Ardoz in the Community of Madrid, is a municipal park and was inaugurated in September 2010. Formerly it was a garbage dump and was recovered to place monuments associated with the different countries of the European Union . We can visit 14 scale replicas of monuments in the open air. Lots of trees and green areas in approximately 190,000 square meters.
El Parque Europa situado en la ciudad de Torrejón de Ardoz en la Comunidad de Madrid, es un parque municipal y fue inaugurado en septiembre de 2010. Antiguamente era un tiradero de basura y fue recuperado para colocar monumentos asociados a los distintos países de la Unión Europea. Podemos visitar al aire libre 14 réplicas de monumentos a escala. Gran cantidad de árboles y zonas verdes en 190 000 metros cuadrados aproximadamente.

The walk took us several hours to visit almost all the monuments. There are places to eat, snack, eat ice cream and public restrooms.

A beautiful walk to visit and enjoy these emblematic works of each country in Europe. There are three lakes and a fauna with swans, ducks and a Viking ship.

A very large park, I think I visited all the structures and statues, the place is very beautiful. To think that before it was a dump and they recovered it.
