Alcalá de Henares is a city located in central Spain, northwest of Madrid.
It is full of visitors and students for having the renowned University of Alcalá, which occupies old buildings from the 16th century.
A place that cannot be missed on a tour is to visit the Museo Casa Natal de Cervantes, former home of the famous author of "Don Quixote". From what the guides explained to me, the house is the point where he was born, but its walls did not see the author grow there since they built another house there when the previous one was destroyed.

Está llena de visitantes y estudiantes por tener la reconocida Universidad de Alcalá, que ocupa edificios antiguos del siglo XVI.
Un lugar que no puede faltar en un recorrido es conocer el Museo Casa Natal de Cervantes, antiguo hogar del célebre autor del “Don Quijote”. Por lo que me explicaron los guías la casa es el punto donde nació, pero sus paredes no vieron al autor crecer allí ya que construyeron otra casa allí cuando la anterior fue destruida.

Their prices in the restaurants I felt were quite accessible, it is a city for students and for tourism, so they treat visitors very well. That if we had to walk a lot to go on our own and tours are organized so you can see the whole city.
Sus precios en los restaurantes los sentí bastante accesibles, es una ciudad para estudiantes y para el turismo, así que tratan muy bien a los visitantes. Eso si tuvimos que caminar bastante al ir por nuestra cuenta y se organizan tour para que veas toda la ciudad.
It is well known for being the place where Miguel de Cervantes was born and for its Complutense University. It is a city declared a World Heritage Site for its ancient structures.
