The most memorable place on my trip to Greece is
This is the temple of Poseidon in Sunion.

"I'll put a white sail on the ship when I get back from the monster safely."

Athenian ships carrying young men to Crete Island for Minotaur used to wear black sails when they returned, and Theseus promised his father that he would wear white sails when he returned from his victory.

But he forgot the promise and left the black sail intact. However, Eigheus, who was waiting for Theseus' boat to arrive at the beach, was disappointed when he found that the black sail, not the white sail, was still attached.

"Ah! Does Theseus end up dying and returning without being able to destroy Minotaur?"

Eigheus threw himself into the sea, unable to overcome his sadness.

Later, the sea where Eigheus committed suicide was called the Aegean Sea after him.

Theseus, who became king of Athens after his father's death, conquered all over the country and flourished Athens. Based on this, he was worshipped as a hero who built the base of Athens competing with Sparta in the mid-8th century BC after the fall of the Crete civilization around 1200 BC.

수니온의 포세이돈 신전입니다. 에게해라는 이름이 유래한 에우로게스가
미노타우로스를 처단하러 떠났던 아들 테세수스가 돌아오는 배에 흰 돗을 다는것을 잊는 마람에
절망하여 자살한, 바로 그 자리입니다.

"아! 결국 테세우스가 미노타우로스를 처단하지 못한 채 죽어서 돌아오는 것인가!"

에게해를 뒤로하고 펼쳐진 곳 위에 홀로
2천년 전의 세월을 보여주고 있습니다.
