WOX: What Next?

I’m a passionate traveler and photographer based in London. I read the other day @stef1's announcement 📣 on a comment to a post of @dianadee who is a really active user here and we started messaging and supporting one another. That, is to be honest, what WOX to me is in a nutshell!

I joined the WOX community a few months ago. I was referred by a very good friend of mine and a fellow photographer @datych who I hung out with in Vietnam 🇻🇳 (before Covid of course!).

To me WOX is a safe place where I share photos I took with the intention to inspire and engage others and receive valuable feedback. I like WOX much better than well-known social media channels, as here we are not trying to promote the brand of hand sanitiser for instance we just used.

I like posting high quality content be it wildlife, food or travel related. I like the contests on here in WOX. Lately I became really fond of @mister-omortson contest which assign us a different topic weekly. I find it interesting how we all interpret it differently.

I valued my experience whilst being on the Diving Program by @bambuka which showed me the potential of WOX and got me into the habit of posting regularly.

Since I joined many active users disappeared. Hopefully they’re just on vacation somewhere and will rejoin us in the autumn. I miss the old times when more users were reacting to the posts, upvoting and commenting. Which is actually what we are all after, rather than feeling lonely here.
