Today we are in Canary Wharf, London's financial district.

Been fishing!

As you can imagine many skyscrapers compete with each other to be the tallest here.

They are all situated right by the river Thames starting from the largest fish market, Billingsgate which is actually moving further out.

There is of course a shopping centre, many places to eat in or take away from and a games arcade.

Modern art, especially sculptures are scattered throughout including at the exotic roof top garden at the Crossrail Place right above the station.

Once you're done playing Indiana Jones, head to the Big Easy.

If you fancy food, it's best to book and as they are on OpenTable it takes not more than a minute, including your request for that table by the window you love.

The place struggles with the service especially drinks which is something that pretty much every review mentions. The Big Easy here at the Canary Wharf is their largest venue so I guess they just need to hire more staff really.

We went for the bottomless brunch which also comes with unlimited food except for the lobster. Well, makes sense to me as we are not in Jamaica or a similar Caribbean paradise island, where even at the beach bar a lobster costs no more than 26 STEEM and comes with a bottle of a cold beer with a slice of lime on top. Often it is easier to get a lobster and alcoholic drinks rather than water or coffee but such is life the other side of the ocean.

Back to the Southern barbecue feast though before the food gets cold. It was ever so tasty with the pulled pork and surprisingly the corn bread muffin being my favourite so I kept asking them to bring more to the table.

I even got a plate full of food without ordering it but I didn't send it back to the kitchen. Same for a round of Prosecco and red wine however near the end of our two hour slot which is the longest you can have a table here for our waitress went on break. The tall, Nordic looking guy who was meant to cover for her did actually nothing but ignore all the thirsty customers seated in her part of the restaurant. I told him off, don't worry, so she did when she came back.

For the inconvenience we got the service charge taken off our bill without even having to ask for it which is fair enough. We also got two whole bottles, a Prosecco and a red wine, a Merlot, to take home which of course we did. So cheers to the weekend guys! Will I go again? Of course I will, just next time I will book their top centrally located restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden.
