Photography Exhibition

I couldn’t wait to finish work today in order to have a look at the annual garden photography exhibition here in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in my city, London.

Summer Sunset at the Salt Cellar by Stephen Elliott taken in the Peak District in Derbyshire, England.

The pop-up event is much bigger than last year with new categories added to the competition. Many German photographers were awarded, revealing pretty colourful images.

Play of Colours by Cristina Wanjura from Bavaria, Germany. She combined her painting of a sumac tree with real objects in the foreground.

A unique collection for this year is a series of slime mould images which look like trendy abstract art.

Blue Tajinaste captured on the Canary Islands, Spain by Tony North made him the overall winner of the contest.

Last but not least Wildflowers and locally bought in Tyne and Wear, England quail eggs all captured by Angi Wallace.
