Farm Shop
But I popped in Fuller’s just outside Tunbridge Wells.
There is a large parking lot right outside the farm shop.
So nothing to worry about even if you drove an unnecessary large 4 x 4 vehicle each. A big car does make me feel safer on the road, but probably that’s just me. But enough about me and I promise that I won’t try selling you a car here either.
This local shop is well known for its butchers so all you vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians can easily give it a miss.
For the rest of us I do recommend the Gloucestershire Old Spot sausages which caught my eye instantly.
Eight between the two of us seemed maybe a bit much for a healthy tea but six didn’t sound enough. Then we didn’t want to be the two weirdos new in town so we didn’t dare to ask for seven.
The sausages made a nice casserole with red split lentils, served with a side of cavolo nero.
A bottle of French champagne went down quite well whilst the stew was in no rush to cook.
Now this is my kind of shopping!
I don't like supermarkets. I would rather browse in farm stalls for hours.
This is one of the beauties when travelling South Africa. You can be sure of it, there is always a farms stall on your route. Maybe even two or three.(•ิ‿•ิ)
The butcher window... looks so great...
