The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #146 - Calmness and Serenity
This picture I clicked last week at one of the resorts in the city called Al Bustan Palace. This resort was once upon a time a Palace and then converted into a Hotel. It's one of the iconic properties in the Sultanate of Oman. It's a royal heritage property and some floors of this hotel are still managed by the Royal family and hence it is called the Al Bustan Palace hotel. The price here is exorbitant, but during Covid times they had dropped down their rates since there was no tourism. In the same year during my Anniversary me and hubby booked a 2-night stay since we got a steal deal. On 30th Nov, that was 2 days back, we again visited this place, but this time just for an afternoon meal by their pool side restaurant. It was such a delight. The views here are stunning and this picture speaks it all. I can sit here day long gazing at this view.

it really is an impressive complex. what a beautiful landscape it has. i can imagine the cost of the fees. but it is a pleasure to spend a few days staying there.

It s on the higher side, but Covid did some good things too :-) it brought down prices of all these places for those 2 years and we could take the advantage of it.
