Visiting Archeological Site || WOX TRAVEL CONTEST - WEEK 2
Hari Minggu tanggal 19 November Kemarin, saya bersama keluarga pergi untuk jalan-jalan mengunjungi Sebuah Taman Purbakala yang masuk dalam kawasan Geopark Maros Pangkep. Taman Tersebut adalah Taman Purbakala Leang-Leang. Taman ini terletak di Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Indonesia.
Apa yang unik dari Taman ini adalah, kita bisa melihat Gugusan Batu Limestones yang berumur Jutaan tahun, dan juga pernah menjadi tempat tinggal dari Nenek Moyang suku bangsa yang mendiami Dataran Sulawesi Selatan di masa lampau. Di lokasi ini banyak terdapat Gua kuno yang menjadi lokasi tempat tinggal manusia purba.
Gugusan batu yang berbagai macam bentuk dan rupa bisa menjadi objek fotografi yang menarik, ditambah dengan suasana taman yang asri dengan banyak pepohonan rindang, menjadikan tempat ini cocok untuk wisata keluarga. Kami sekeluarga bahkan menjadikan lokasi ini untuk piknik.
Untuk masuk ke Taman ini, kita harus membayar sekitar Rp. 15 ribu atau sekitar 4 Steem untuk 1 orang. Tidak ada penjual makanan dan minuman di dalam taman, namun kita bisa membelinya sebelum masuk dalam gerbang taman. Cukup banyak penjual makanan dan minuman yang menjajakan dagangannya sehingga kita memiliki banyak pilihan.

Last Sunday, on November 19, my family and I went for a visit to an Ancient Park within the Geopark Maros Pangkep area. This park is known as the Leang-Leang Ancient Park. It's located in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
What makes this park unique is the opportunity to witness clusters of limestone rocks that are millions of years old, which used to be the dwelling place of the ancestors of the indigenous people who inhabited the South Sulawesi Plateau in the past. Numerous ancient caves on this site served as homes for ancient humans.
The various shapes and forms of these rock clusters make for captivating photography subjects. Coupled with the serene atmosphere of the park filled with lush trees, it's an ideal spot for family outings. My family and I even chose this location for a picnic.
To enter this park, the fee is approximately Rp. 15,000 or about 4 Steem per person. There are no food or drink vendors inside the park, but they can be purchased outside the park's entrance. There are quite a few vendors offering a variety of options.

This Ancient Park sounds incredible! The combination of ancient limestone formations and the historical significance definitely makes it a remarkable destination. I gotta ask, what's the anomaly on the 6th picture? I mean this looks like some sort of UFO. :)
