Short Stop at Mamuju City
Melakukan Perjalanan trans Sulawesi dari Makassar ke Manado, sudah pasti akan melewati sebuah Kota di Sulawesi Barat, Yaitu Kota Mamuju. Kota ini sering menjadi lokasi persinggahan sebelum kami melanjutkan perjalanan ke Arah Utara Pulau Sulawesi.
Kota ini di tahun 2021 sempat di hantam dengan bencana Alam Gempa Bumi yang memporak-porandakan Beberapa bangunan di Kota ini.
Sebelum memasuki kota ini, kita akan melewati garis pantai Barat pulau Sulawesi yang cukup panjang dengan banyak pohon bakau di beberapa lokasinya.
Lokasi berikutnya ketika kita memasuki Kota, adalah Landmark Kota yaitu Pantai Manakarra, Lokasi yang menjadi tempat berkumpulnya masyarakat Kota Mamuju.
Di Landmark ini juga terdapat sebuah Tugu Gong Perdamaian yang menandai Deklarasi Perdamaian untuk menghentikan segala macam Konflik Horizontal yang pernah terjadi di pulau Sulawesi yaitu Konflik Poso.
Demikian Ulasan travel story ketika saya melakukan perjalanan dari Makassar ke Manado dan singgah ke Kota Mamuju, di Sulawesi Barat.

Traveling across Sulawesi from Makassar to Manado, you will inevitably pass through a city in West Sulawesi, namely Mamuju City. This city often serves as a stopover location before continuing the journey towards the northern direction of Sulawesi Island.
In 2021, this city was struck by a natural disaster, an earthquake, which devastated several buildings in the area.
Before entering this city, you will traverse the long western coastline of Sulawesi Island, adorned with numerous mangrove trees in several locations.
The next location upon entering the city is the city's landmark, Pantai Manakarra, a place where the community of Mamuju City gathers.

In this landmark, there is also a Gong of Peace monument, marking the Peace Declaration to cease all forms of horizontal conflicts that occurred in Sulawesi, specifically the Poso Conflict.
