Magical Morning Scene
Saya melanjutkan menuju Lokasi berikutnya.
English Version
That day, the darkness of the night had not completely faded, the atmosphere was still quiet, the cold wind accompanied by thick fog. I woke up, washed my face, then grabbed my car keys and started driving out towards the silent streets leading to the city. Occasionally, vehicles passed by, but I could be ensured that some people were still busy in the embrace of their dreams.
I arrived at the City Gate, leaving Kotamobagu behind on the roads that began to ascend. My eyes started to adjust to the darkness so that from the corner of my eye, I could see the silhouette of the Ambang mountain from the window of my car. I continued driving, 30 minutes later the road started to twist and turn. I slowed down, opened the window, and let the cold wind sweep my face.
I stopped at a roadside eatery that was still closed, parked my vehicle in a safe place. The road was very narrow, so it was risky for me to leave my car on the side of the road. I took out my camera and tripod, but the overcast sky dampened my spirits. How could I take photos of the sunrise if the sun was hidden behind the clouds? But I remained optimistic.
My eyes were fixed on the first composition of the day. A small hut where farmers could stop and take shelter, and an expanse of unplanted rice fields, along with the cloudy sky that added to the dramatic scene.
I continued on to the next location. Slowly, the sky began to clear, and at some points, sunlight started to break through. I captured two photos at two nearby locations, one of which faced east.
Satisfied with the photos I had taken, I continued my journey further inward towards a vast expanse of rice fields and an intriguing hut that caught my attention.
Afterward, I took a moment to enjoy the scenery around me. The irrigation channel nearby flowed with crystal-clear water, tempting me to let my feet soak in the refreshing cold water. In the distance, the bustling of vehicles started to be heard, indicating that some people already started their daily routine. It was around 7:00 in the morning. I returned to my parked car and resumed my journey towards the city of Manado.
