Over the past week, you have sent us a huge number of photos. We have noticed that you prefer a specific topic of the competition. Ok, let's continue this trend. Next week's theme is The fortress!
Well theme of next week is -fortress or any fortification- of all kinds!
Of course, you can post photos on any topic, but photos of the fortifications will take priority.
well...all reflections in your photos are amazing. We received a huge number of interesting photos. It's hard to determine the winners. Today we decided to choose a group of the most expressive photos. As we wrote earlier, we decided to raise the rates. This means that the first three places will receive larger prizes than they received before. Of course, this will be done at the expense of other participants.
The maximum number of upvotes was received by a photograph of our regular participant @esthersanchez
We can hardly find reflections in the photo, but we pay tribute to the harmony and beauty of the young model.

Моя заявка для конкурса
Эта крепость находится в городке Савонлинна, Финляндия. В месте "тысячи озер". Крепость называется Олавинлинна (по-шведски Олафсборг — в честь Святого Олафа — конунга-крестителя Норвегии). Она была заложена шведами в 1475 году и названа Нюслотт (швед. Nyslott, «новый замок»).
Первая шведская озёрная крепость, построенная с расчётом на противостояние огнестрельной артиллерии.

Есть ещё типа озёрной крепости в Приозерск, Корела вроде зовётся, забыл уже. Есть фото, но на компе, из леса не достать ))

Так получилось. Почти в лесу,да. Домик на берегу Нахимовского озёра и почти без связи. Фото грузится порой дольше пары минут тоска )). Зато воздух свежий и иногда бывает солнце. Вот может завтра сподобимся))
ой, мне бы в такой домик, да с материалами для творчества )) да я тоже смотрела на завтра погоду - вроде хорошая будет, очень жду солнца )
в город вернулся, даже непривычно уже))
А за окном почти лето)
домик там чудесный во всех отношениях и материалов для творчества полный двор ))
Вот погода отличная, а я на работу ((
Мне проще, работаю сам по себе))

Это точно :) Она там прям самая крутая достопримечательность, я ее со всех сторон обходила, пыталась найти лучшие виды)

Из гранита было бы куда красивее!))) А из брёвен... как есть))) Но "Запорожская Сечь" строилась, как в прежние времена!)))
Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, Koblenz, Germany

I took this pic at Koblenz when I visited Germany. It is Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, located on the River Rhine where it is joined by the Moselle River. It is build on the site of an earlier fortress which was destroyed by the French in 1801. I took a cable car to the top - what a dramatic view and ride!

The famous Wawel Castle on the Vistula River in Krakow is one of the largest in Poland and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Great!
A stone, centuries old, British medieval castle facade amongst lush greenery with its reflection in water. It includes a tower, residential buildings and an estates office, all dominated by a banquet hall in Lamberhurst, Tunbridge Wells, UK, managed by the National Trust.
I felt like the Queen of the Castle.

Петропавловская крепость по ночам не спит. Её задача - охранять сон города, да и туристов радовать. Это она только кажется маленькой, а когда-то ладья мимо просто так не проскочила бы ))

Все питерские фотографы подтянулись к мистеру с крепостями ))
Питер большой, а крепость одна...ну или разве что свою построить ))
а вай бы и не нот бы? мой пример кстати убедительно показывает что не надо быть питерским фотографом и ездить в финку, чтоб было чего предъявить - крепостя не эксклюзив.
Ну хочется разное показать )) У меня на самом деле не так уж и много крепостей))
эта просто образцово-показательная! у меня такой нету :)
