Steemit Engagement Challenge WOX Community S10W2: Drawing Hands

in WORLD OF XPILARlast year

InShot_20230615_194353662.gif

Hi @marpa and thank you for doing this funny GIF and complete transformation of the hand. You started very well as a good student but hten your drawing lost its aim, maybe because you love doing GIFs and cartoons.

The whole idea of the tutorials to help students who are interested in drawing of human anatomy to create esthetic appearance of part of human body a hand.

Unfortunately, your work is not sitting into the frame of our challenge, I am sorry about that, but it is still lovely cartoon and we all know that you are a master of it.

Jejejeje.

Hi, @marpa.
I think your drawing does not deserve any analysis or comment. It seems more like a joke to me than an attempt to do relatively acceptable work.
Your GIFs in this contest seem out of place and really annoy me.

Greetings.

I have read with concern several evaluations and comments from some judges in charge of the challenges of this community.

I turned my gaze towards this because some users contacted me and let me know that they felt bad, humiliated and diminished with their evaluations in the challenges, I want to limit several suggestions for you:

  • Remember that there are 7 challenges, one for each day of the week, which means that users must work quickly (and efficiently) to be able to participate in as many challenges as possible, adhering to the rules, quality and time. own content, without adding that they also have to comment on other participations.

  • Most of them are not artists, so I think the expectation level should be low.

  • Being a moderator or judge is a responsibility but can be done without offending or demoralizing a user (this only results in users not wanting to participate in your challenges).

  • You can be objective when evaluating, that's what the score is for.

Anyway, remember that we are not studied artists, but we still want to participate in the challenges and express ourselves.

@steemcurator01 take a look at this please.

Hello friend, first of all to evaluate a user is not necessary to offend, our job as moderator or judge in your case is to guide the contestants, not insult or offend them, because not all are artists like you and the rest of the judges.

Each user does the best they can to present their challenge and it is unacceptable that they are treated this way just because they do not meet your so-called standards. All work should be valued and commented on, that's what the scores are for and if the work was not the best according to your criteria, you can let them know without offending the participant.

For example, our friend @stef1 made a good comment by addressing @marpa in that way, because it was a comment with respect and always making it known that she has talent for the area in which she works which are the gifs.

To evaluate a participant we should not humiliate, offend and belittle anyone.

It is very unfortunate that this is your opinion of a post that was made with effort and dedication, this was never a joke. So it is more regrettable that you can not value the work of others, because if something is clear, is that not all of us have their artistic abilities. And good thing I do love my gifs and I'm very proud of them.

I understand your annoyance @jorgevandeperre, the work really does not meet the strict criteria of the competition.
But everyone does what they do best. I see that @marpa is a cheerful person, and we are too serious :)
She did a good job and let her work be an addition to our event out of competition.
I think it will be more serious next time 😎

First of all, I'm sorry if you think my post is a joke, because it's not, that's how I draw and I'm sorry if my strokes are not to the liking of others. If my post did not comply with what was needed, that's fine, @stef1 had already told me in a kind way and I accepted to be disqualified. However, I invested time, love and effort in these strokes, but, the result was not nice and I solved it, how did I solve it? By creating a body for this hand and no one better than King-kong.

Life is like that, there will always be obstacles, if you do something and it doesn't turn out well, you solve it, you adapt it and you are proud of your work, because I feel happy with what I did.

I appreciate your supportive comment @bambuka and it's not about being serious or not, it's not about what will be better or worse. What it is about is that we are all different and in those differences we should respect each other, not belittle each other's work because we don't like it.

Have a nice day .

Hello @marpa
Speaking about a joke, I didn't mean that you didn't take your job seriously. You have really done a serious job and it is worthy of respect.
I'm sorry that there was such a situation with comments. But sometimes it also happens that different people put different meanings into the same words and expressions. We are all here from different cultures, languages and traditions. Somewhere it is customary to speak more directly, somewhere they express their thoughts more veiled. I don't think that by evaluating your work, someone was trying to offend you and your feelings. But it turned out what happened. Sorry.
I think we all need to learn how to interact with each other correctly and our platform is a good place for this.
I hope that the current situation will serve as an object lesson for us.

Have a nice day too :)
