The World of XPILAR - PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #140 - Reminiscence [ENG/ESP]
"The past always seems better when you look back on it than it did at the time. And the present never looks as good as it will in the future."
Peter Benchley
Reminiscence
A reminiscence is an imprecise, diffuse or distant memory of a fact or an image of the past that comes to mind, or also, it is that which survives of a thing and that serves to remember it.
This word is used in common language in a perhaps more poetic way than others, since it encompasses a very fragile level of memories, not as part of clear and concise facts, but as something that we evoke in our mind but not in an obvious or evident way.
This photograph belonging to my personal archive, I took it some years ago during a short walk to the historic center of Puerto Cabello, a port city on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Reminiscencia
