Blue

Blue is the color of serene skies, vast oceans and deep emotions. It has traditionally been associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration and sensitivity, but it also represents trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, faith and intelligence.

Since ancient times, blue has captivated artists, poets and thinkers, serving as a metaphor for introspection, tranquility and even melancholy.

I took this picture a few years ago, during a short visit to the colonial quarter of the city of Puerto Cabello, located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.

As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.

Azul

El azul es el color de los cielos serenos, de los inmensos océanos y de las emociones profundas. Tradicionalmente se le ha asociado con los espacios abiertos, la libertad, la intuición, la imaginación, la inspiración y la sensibilidad, pero también representa la confianza, la lealtad, la sinceridad, la sabiduría, la confianza, la fe y la inteligencia.

Desde tiempos remotos, el azul ha cautivado a artistas, poetas y pensadores, sirviendo como metáfora de la introspección, la tranquilidad, e incluso, la melancolía.

Esta fotografía la tomé hace algunos años atrás, durante una corta visita que realicé al casco colonial de la ciudad de Puerto Cabello, ubicada a orillas del Mar Caribe.

Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir la imagen original a mi entera satisfacción.
