Goddess
The goddess is a female deity. In ancient times deities were linked to virtues such as beauty, love, sexuality, motherhood, creativity and fertility, as in the case of the cult of the goddess mother.
The recognition of the woman's role as mother and source of life was common in all ancient cultures, whether Greek, Indian, Mesopotamian or pre-Islamic.
In some faiths, a sacred female figure occupies a central place in prayer and religious worship, for example, in Shaktism, which venerates the feminine force that animates the world, this being one of the three main sects of Hinduism.
In this opportunity, as I have done the most recent times, besides the drawing of the female figure that I usually do in pencil, I also used the tip of a cotton swab in order to uniform or degrade the shadows that are obtained as a result of the illumination of the selected model. In all cases, I choose the images from the twitter network.
Diosa
La diosa es una deidad femenina. Antiguamente las deidades se vinculaban a virtudes como la belleza, el amor, la sexualidad, la maternidad, la creatividad y la fertilidad, como es el caso del culto a la diosa madre.
El reconocimiento del rol de la mujer como madre y fuente de vida era común en todas las culturas antiguas, ya fuesen griegas, indias, mesopotámicas o preislámicas.
En algunos credos, una figura femenina sagrada ocupa un lugar central en la oración y el culto religioso, por ejemplo, en el shaktismo, que venera la fuerza femenina que anima el mundo, siendo esta una de las tres sectas principales del hinduismo.
En esta oportunidad, tal como le hecho las veces más recientes, además del dibujo de la figura femenina que suelo realizar a lapiz, también utilicé la punta de un hisopo de algodón con la finalidad de uniformizar o degradar las sombras que se obtienen como resultado de la iluminación de la modelo seleccionada. En todos los casos, las imágenes las escojo de la red twitter.
