Girl with a Hat
The hat is an article of clothing that is used specifically to cover the head, either from the sun, the cold or even to mark the social status of the wearer. Its origins go back to the first empires: in ancient Egypt various types of headgear were already in use, however, one of the best known antecedents of the hat was the Phrygian cap, used by the Greeks to symbolize that whoever wore it was a slave who had been granted his freedom.
In the beginning, hats were mainly made of felt and wool.
In this opportunity, as I have done the most recent times, besides the drawing of the female figure that I usually do in pencil, I also used the tip of a cotton swab in order to uniform or degrade the shadows that are obtained as a result of the illumination of the selected model. In all cases, I choose the images from the twitter network.
Chica con Sombrero
El sombrero es una prenda de vestir que se utiliza específicamente para cubrir la cabeza, bien sea del sol, el frío o incluso marcar el estatus social de su portador. Su orígen se remonta a los primeros imperios: en el antiguo Egipto ya se utilizaban diversos tipos de tocados, sin embargo, uno de los más conocidos antecedentes del sombrero fue el gorro frigio, utilizado por los griegos para simbolizar que todo aquel que lo portara era un esclavo al que se le había otorgado su libertad.
En sus inicios, los sombreros eran fabricados principalmente de fieltro y de lana.
En esta oportunidad, tal como le hecho las veces más recientes, además del dibujo de la figura femenina que suelo realizar a lapiz, también utilicé la punta de un hisopo de algodón con la finalidad de uniformizar o degradar las sombras que se obtienen como resultado de la iluminación de la modelo seleccionada. En todos los casos, las imágenes las escojo de la red twitter.
