Citadine Postcards
In the days of the pandemic, when the measures of confinement began to relax and everyday life emerged in the midst of the chaos it had represented; I used to walk around the city, at least the streets and sectors closest to home, with the purpose of graphically documenting the resurgence of life, at least as we knew it before 2020.
These tours were done on foot or by car, but for me it was an opportunity to escape, at least for a couple of hours, from the loneliness and the feeling of being a prisoner in my own home, before returning to confine myself again.
On one occasion, I had the opportunity to photograph this business center located in the east of the city, taking advantage of the scarce vehicular traffic of those days that surely few of us wish to remember or experience again.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original images to my satisfaction.
Postales Citadinas
En los días de la pandemia, cuando las medidas de confinamiento comenzaban a flexibilizarse y la cotidianidad surgía en medio del caos que había representado esto; acostumbraba a recorrer la ciudad, al menos las calles y sectores mas cercanos a casa, con el propósito de documentar gráficamente el resurgir de la vida, al menos como la conocíamos antes de 2020.
Estos recorridos los hacía a pié o en carro, pero para mí constituía la oportunidad de escapar, al menos por un par de horas, de la soledad y de la sensación de ser un prisionero en mi propio hogar, antes de regresar para confinarme nuevamente.
En una de ocasiones, tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar este centro empresarial ubicado en el este de la ciudad, aprovechando el escaso tránsito vehicular de aquellos días que seguramente pocos de nosotros deseamos recordar o experimentar nuevamente.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
